More top-ranked players have named their schools recently, including a pair of top 20 prospects. A look at who’s going where:
+ Braden Mosley, an athletic OF from Moline HS, has committed to Southern Illinois University. The 6-foot-2, 190-pound Mosley is currently ranked No. 16 in Illinois and No. 67 overall. Mosley is a high-level athlete, having run a 6.62 60 in the winter and has been clocked at 89 mph from the outfield.
+ No player in the state saw a more meteoric rise this summer than Oak Park RHP Keith Rogalla. The 6-foot-3, 195-pound right-hander has committed to Creighton. Rogalla is currently ranked No. 18 in Illinois and No. 71 overall.
+ Jordan Fedro, a lanky 6-foot-6, 185-pound RHP from Prospect HS, has committed to Bradley. Ranked No. 33 in Illinois and 142 overall, Fedro emerged as one of the top pitchers at the PBR Top Prospect Showcase behind and easy 87 mph fastball.
+ Alex Padilla, a RHP from De La Salle HS, has committed to SIU-Edwardsville. The 5-foot-9 right-hander showed well this summer, flashing mid-80s fastball and a sharp breaking ball.
+ Kevin Ulrich, a 6-foot-4 LHP from East Peoria HS, has committed to Illinois Central College.
