The Metro East Open is only days away and the roster has filled to over 60 prospects from around the southern Illinois area. This year the roster is packed with unseen talent as well as prospects who have firmly planted themselves at the tops of our class rankings. 

Bryan Hudson (Alton, 2015) will be one of the top attractions at the event. Not only will he physically stand out, at 6-foot-7 200-pounds, but the LHP is ranked No. 17 in the state and has been up to 86 mph.

Southern Illinois commit Bradley Harrison will also be in attendance, the O’Fallon native committed to the Salukis in January and is currently ranked No. 31 in the state.

Several other ranked prospects highlight the roster including Cole Cimarolli (Edwardsville, 2016), Aaron Jackson (Edwardsville, 2015) and Bradley Snyder (O’Fallon, 2016).

Check-In times for the event are as follows:

Position players will check-in from 8:20-8:40 am.

Pitchers will check-in from 11:20-11:40 am.
