No. 6 Sandburg 21, Eisenhower 0

No. 9 Naperville Central 4, Joliet Catholic Academy 2
Naperville Central (4-2) knocked off JCA in Naperville on Friday. Redhawk RHP Zach Aranoff allowed two runs and three hits in six innings to pick up the win. Redhawk closer RHP Pat Maloney nailed down the save. Redhawk C Brian Schiemann had a double and two RBI to lead Central. Joliet Catholic Academy (5-4) was led by 3B Jon Trotto, who drove home both Hilltopper runs.

No. 12 Nazareth 8, Stagg 6
Nazareth (8-0) outslugged Stagg in a nonconference battle in La Grange Park on Friday. Roadrunner senior Mike Noesen had two hits and two RBI to lead Nazareth.

No. 13 Prairie Ridge 5, Wauconda 4
Prairie Ridge (5-1) slipped past Wauconda on Friday in Crystal Lake. Junior Matt Furst had a single and a double and drove home a run to lead the Wolves. RHP Steve Ladd allowed one earned run in five innings to pick up the win.

No. 16 Huntley 9, Hoffman Estates 1
Huntley (7-0) crushed Hoffman Estates on Friday. Louisville-bound Colin Lyman and Illinois-recruit junior Mark Skonieczny each had two hits and two RBI to lead the Red Raiders. Junior LHP Tommy Regan allowed one run in four innings to pick up the win on the mound for Huntley.

No. 18 Teutopolis 13, Flora 2
Teutopolis (11-1) rolled past Flora behind junior LHP Bobby Wenthe (4-0). Wenthe allowed a run and two hits in four innings to pick up the win. Wenthe also helped himself at the plate with a double and two RBI.

No. 19 Downers Grove South 3, Naperville North 2
          Downers Grove South (7-2) hung on to beat Naperville North in Downers Grove on Friday. Senior RHP Alex Galik fired six shutout innings, allowing three hits and struck out six, to pick up the win. Iowa-bound RHP Zack Burdi nailed down the save. Burdi was 2-for-2, including a double at the plate. Pacific-bound Danny Mayer had two singles and an RBI to lead the Mustangs.

Normal West 9, Chatham Glenwood 7
Normal West (8-3) had a joyful bus ride home up I-55 from Springfield Friday night. The Wildcats outslugged the Titans, at South Park in Chatham led by junior Reed Rogers. Rogers had two hits including a double and drove home two ‘Cat runs. University of Illinois-bound RHP Matt James got roughed up a little by the Titans, but still got the win to improve to 4-0. James gave up four runs and six hits in his five innings of work.

Normal Community 5, Peoria Richwoods 0.
Ironmen, junior Hunter Baily, senior Ty Brown and junior Ben Wylde, combined for a two-hit shutout of the Kights. The Ironmen picked up five unearned runs and only two hits against Peoria Richwoods (4-3) ace Ryan Dunne. Dunne struck out 12.

Jacobs 5, Maine South 1
Jacobs (6-1) rolled past Maine South on Friday in Algonquin. The Golden Eagles were led by Connor Conzelman, Matt Hickey and Aaron Traub, all who had a hit and an RBI for Jacobs. LHP Austin Sickel scattered 10 hits, allowing only one run in his 5 2/3 innings of work to pick up the win. Maine South falls to 4-3

Aurora Central Catholic 13, Tuscola 3
In the Tuscola Invitational, Aurora Central Catholic (6-1) demolished the host school Tuscola, in five innings on Friday night. Charger starting and winning pitcher, Jacque Jacquay allowed two runs in four innings to pick up the win. Hunter Fiorito led the Charger onslaught with two hits and four RBI, including a double.

Morgan Park Academy 6, Francis Parker 4
Morgan Park Academy (1-2; 1-1) defeated Francis Parker in an ISL contest at MPA on Friday. The Warriors were led by sophomore Julian Northcross. The fleet-footed Northcross had three hits and three stolen bases to lead the Warriors. Jiheon Jun chipped in with a booming RBI double for MPA.MPA starting and winning pitcher Arthur Ortiz, allowed two hits in his four quality innings of work to get the win. Northcross slammed the door on the Colonels, to nail down the save for Ortiz. MPA will host U-High on Tuesday at 4:30

No. 23 Simeon 14, Whitney Young 8
Simeon (4-2; 1-0) outslugged the Dolphins behind sophomore RHP Jamari McKinney. McKinney (1-0) fired five scoreless innings in relief to pick up the win. McKinney scattered six hits and allowed one earned run. McKinney helped himself at the plate with three singles and two RBI. Senior Diontrel Earls added two doubles and two RBI for the Wolverines.

Batavia 15, East Aurora 1

Batavia (8-0, 3-0 River) overwhelmed east Aurora on Friday. The surprising Bulldogs were led by junior Micah Coffey. Coffey homered twice and drove home five Bulldog runs. Coffey is crushing the baseball at a .462 clip, with four doubles and today’s two bombs.

Lake Park 6, Geneva 0
Lake Park (5-1; 2-1 Valley) blanked Geneva on Friday. 6-foot-3 RHP Mark Pall fired a one-hitter at the Vikings with 10 punch-outs for the Lancers to improve to 2-0 on the season.
