Central Illinois Open: Preview

The Central Illinois Open is back and just like previous years, this event typically unveils some of the top talent in Central Illinois. In years past this event has uncovered prospects like Cole Daily (Sacred Heart Griffin, 2015, Notre Dame), Cole Bellair (Lockport, 2015, Illinois) and Connor Manous (Munster, 2016, Miami). Nine players from last year’s event have committed to play college baseball and even more are ranked in their respective class.

The event will take place at The Corn Crib in Normal, IL, home of the Normal Cornbelters of the Frontier League and Heartland CC.
