Top Uncommitted Spotlight: 2025 Ryder Scheibe

With 2023 now in the rearview mirror, we continue our coverage of the talented Idaho community with Uncommitted Spotlights on some of the top prospects still on the board from the past events. With the calendar now flipped and the high school season on the horizon, there's plenty of high-end talent across several classes in the State still on the board and we continue to highlight some of those players below.
These spotlights are used to help paint a clearer picture of the prospect with the help of our TrackMan, Blast Motion, Swift Performance and Vizual Edge systems, that provides objective data that teams to identify and break down players that they believe will fit into their system.
Today, we continue the spotlight series with a breakdown of Emmett HS product, 2025 RHP Ryder Scheibe, who's developed well on the mound over the past year. The right-hander also took the mound for Team Idaho at the West Coast Games this past summer, working up to 87mph while flashing a three-pitch mix.

Delivery: Tall, narrow set up. Left side of the rubber. Compact, clean delivery. Drop and drive type. Gets down the mound well. Lands on line with some fall to glove side.

Hits: RHH. Wider based, slighlty opened set up. Weight shifts towards back leg. Toe tap gather into low leg kick back to square. Hands path does have some loop. Works up through the ball. Lives mostly middle-pull. High two handed finish.
Power: 88 max exit velocity, averaged 75.7 MPH. 309' max distance.
Arm: RH. OF-79 mph.
Defense: Athleticism present in his OF actions. Foot work to get him on line to his target. Simple shuffle/throw with midsection exchange. Accurate.
