Brett Harrison
West Coast Supervisor

On Saturday, October 12th, the Prep Baseball Idaho staff hosted it's lone event of the fall season with the Fall Campus Tour: College of Southern Idaho at Skip Walker Stadium in Twin Falls, Idaho. This event featured players in the 2025 - 2028 classes with all players running through a full workout alongside our tech partners TrackMan, Blast Motion and more. It was also a chance for unsigned upperclassmen to workout on-field infront of Golden Eagles staff.

Next, we'll continue our deep dive into the post event coverage with the Quick Hits, highlighting the immediate standouts from the event.

Fall Campus tour: CSI - Quick Hits

Carson Cyganik C / 1B / Vallivue, ID / 2027

The sophomore impressed during his first time out with us, showing off his advanced actions on both sides of the ball. Cyganik started his day one of the days Top Batting Practice Sessions earning a 96.1 mph Exit Velocity (Event Rank - 2), while earning the Top Average Exit Velocity of 86.5 mph (Event Rank - 1). His standout performance continued on the defensive side of the ball with present feel behind the plate landing at the top of both Catcher Leaderboards - Catcher Velocity - 73 (Event Rank - 1) and Catcher Pop Time (Event Rank - 1). The Vallivue/Sawtooth Catch product will be one to keep an eye on this upcoming Spring.

Justin Wunsch OF / RHP / Middleton, ID / 2025

Wunsch continues to improve and see his game trend each time out with us as he put of a new personal best in almost every statistical category that was measured at the Fall Campus Tour. His performance on both sides of the ball landed his name at or near the top of most metrics tracked including the Top Outfield Velocity - 87 mph, Top Exit Velocity - 99.8 mph and Top Distance - 365 feet. His present feel for the barrel and ability to drive the ball to the big part of the yard makes Wunsch a player to follow.

Easton Cannon SS / RHP / Blackfoot, ID / 2025

The older of the Cannon brothers is another prospect that continues to see his game trend each time out with whether it is at the plate, in the field or on the mound. Cannon saw almost every metric improve at the Fall Campus Tour and could be attributed to the obvious physical strength gains that saw his 60 Time improve to 6.99, Outfield Velocity to 84 mph, Max Distance - 323 feet, Peak Hand Speed - 22.5 and Fastball Velocity - 84.5 mph. The improvements in his game plus the projectability with his 6’1/151 lbs. frame make him a player that should be on more than a few radars heading in to his senior Spring.

Preston Flournoy OF / RHP / Mountain View, ID / 2026

The 6-foot-2, 172.2 pound two-way showed off his projectable actions on both sides of the ball with consistent barrels on display during his Batting Practices Session then showing off an intriguing mix on the mound with a long, loose arm that topped at 84 mph, coming across his body to create deception. The Junior has obvious upside that we expect to continue seeing high game progress over the next year.

Conner Cannon 3B / RHP / Blackfoot, ID / 2027

The younger Cannon brother, not little brother, now measuring at 6-foot-2, 207.7 lbs, saw his game also improve in almost every area whether it is at the plate or on the mound. With strength coming, the actions are starting to shine through and those actions paired with the projected strength that is coming makes for an exciting player to follow.

Slade Fisher 2B / 3B / Twin Falls, ID / 2025

The Twin Falls product showed off his Summer progress made at the Fall Campus Tour with more polished actions throughout his game that could be attributed to the physical strength gains made. Improved Blast Motion metrics with new personal bests in Max Hand Speed (23.1 mph) and Max Bat Speed (72 mph) directly translated to his new personal best in Max Exit Velocity (92.5 mph) and Max Distance (316 feet). Fisher is prime for a big Senior Spring and we expect him to find his next baseball home in the near future.
