The College of Southern Idaho has established itself as one the premier Junior College programs in the country, not only because of their consistent, deep playoff runs, but their success at getting players moved on to the next level. Each year, CSI partners with Prep Baseball Idaho to carry out the JUCO Scout Day, highlighting the sophomores within the program that project to be impact players in the upcoming Spring. 

This event will provide players access to updated information, verified and objective personal stats and video to the 1000+ college coaches that subscribe to Prep Baseball.

Prep Baseball events are designed to give players the maximum exposure needed to advance to the next level. Not only will you receive high-level exposure from college coaches, but all players at events will be videotaped, and the edited performance will be hosted on the website.

CSI Scout Day: Players to Know

+ Jack Barker, OF - Barker is a power-hitting left-handed outfielder known for his impressive swing and ability to drive the ball deep into the outfield. With a strong athletic build, he combines speed and power, making him a formidable presence at the plate and a reliable fielder. Barker's keen eye for pitches allows him to recognize opportunities to capitalize on mistakes from opposing pitchers.

+ Shay Benson, LHP (Nicholls State) - Shay is a talented left-handed pitcher known for his impressive command and diverse pitching repertoire. With a smooth delivery and an effective fastball, he keeps hitters off balance while also featuring a sharp curveball and a deceptive changeup. + Coleman Bobb, RHP (VCU) - Coleman is a hard-throwing right-handed pitcher known for his explosive velocity and dominant presence on the mound. With a powerful fastball that consistently reaches the mid to upper 90s. Bobb also features a sharp slider and an effective changeup, which he uses to keep batters guessing. As he continues to refine his mechanics and command, Bobb is positioned for a bright future.

+ Brexten Starley, C - Starley is a skilled catcher known for his strong defensive abilities and leadership on the field. With quick reflexes and a strong arm, he excels at controlling the running game and framing pitches to help his pitchers succeed. Starley is also a reliable hitter, demonstrating a keen eye at the plate and the ability to drive in runs when it matters most. His work ethic and commitment to improving his game have made him a valuable asset to his team.

+ Brock Snow, LHP (BYU) - Brock is a promising left-handed pitcher recognized for his effective slider and ability to command the game from the mound. His smooth delivery allows him to generate impressive velocity while maintaining command. Snow's slider is a standout pitch, known for its sharp break, making it a potent weapon against hitters. + Mack Evans, OF - Mack is a dynamic centerfielder known for his speed, agility, and strong defensive skills. + Braxton Yates, LHP Freshman - Yates is a talented left-handed pitcher known for his impressive command and a mid to upper 80s fastball.
