Future Games Spotlight: Noah Davies

EMERSON, GEORGIA - From Wednesday, July 24 through Sunday, July 28 Prep Baseball hosted its prestigious Future Games and Junior Future Games at LakePoint Sports Complex in Emerson, Georgia. This year's event week also included a 17U division of uncommitted Class of 2025 players who participanted in the inaugural Senior Future Games.
On the first day of the 2024 Future Games, all players representing grad classes 2025, 2026, and 2028 will be participating in a pro-style workout in front of a fleet of Division I coaches alongside fellow prospects representing nearly every state in the nation.
Today we will begin spotlighting some of the Iowa standouts on Team Midwest from the 2024 Future Games. Today, we take a look 2026, C, Noah Davies from Boone.

Positional Profile: C/OF
Body: 5-9, 180-pounds.
Hit: LHH.Slightly open stance with more upright posture. Relaxed rhythm to hands, keeps his head very still throughout swing. Bigger swing but flashes good hands speed and strength through the zone producing consistent hard line drives
Power: 97 max exit velocity, averaged 92.3 mph. 332' max distance.
Arm: RH. C-72 mph. OF-82 mph. Low profile in approach, good out front glove actions playing through the ball with confidence and momentum.
Defense: 2.09-2.13 pop times.Noticeably flexible hips in setup. Plus glove receiver with quiet glove movements. handling edges well with good ball presentation.

Hit: LHH. Open stance to start, stays controlled through load, explodes through ball well, mid/pull approach, above avg. strength in swing for age.
