Moller has a strong, sturdy frame at 6-foot-1, 200 pounds, built to withstand the rigors of catching. Defensively, he has a quick exchange and strong arm that lead to plus pop times. The bat is his carrying tool, as he has a loose, easy and smooth stroke from the right side that generates plus raw power.

He showed a propensity to go the other way facing older pitching, and while his timing was sometimes a bit late, he found a way to get it done with line drive up the middle and to right field for hits in some bigger spots.
