The University of Iowa commit had a dominate performance in Ames' extra inning, 1-0 win over Cedar Rapids. At the plate, he went 4-for-4 with a double and the walk-off home run in the bottom of the eighth. He also threw 7 2/3 innings while striking out 17.

On the year, Geffre's slashing .450/.613/.880 and is tied for 5th in the state with 10 home runs. His 81 total strikeouts on the mound are the third highest in Class 4A.
