2024 Prep Baseball Iowa Pitcher & Player of the Week: Week 6

Owen Siegert LHP / OF / West Marshall, IA / 2024

The South Dakota State recruit added 18 strikeouts in is seven inning outing against Saydel. 

Siegert is now 8-0 with a 0.31 ERA with 90 strikeouts-to-10 walks in 44.2 innings.

Adding to his week, he also went 6-for-12 with a pair of doubles, now hitting .455 on the season.

Bryar Bellis / Wapsie Valley, IA / 2027

The freshman was an offensive catalyst for the Warriors last week, posting a .667 batting average while collecting 8 hits (including two doubles and a triple) and stealing five bases. On the year, he's slash .382/.496/.482 with 24 walks and just 7 strikeouts. He's currently second among all freshmen with 35 hits on the year. 

Bellis also went 1-0 with eight strikeouts in five innings on the mound.
