2024 Prep Baseball Iowa Pitcher & Player of the Week: Week 4

The Iowa Western commit had a solid outing on the mound last week against Council Bluffs Thomas Jefferson, where he went a complete game while scattering five singles, no walks and three strikeouts. 

Schaefer also was a beast at the plate: In Bishop Heelan's doubleheader against Thomas Jefferson, Schaefer went 4-for-6 with a home runs, double and seven RBI.  

Jax Theeler 1B / OF / Sioux City East , IA / 2025

The uncommitted 2025 had a big week with the bat: He went 9-for-20 with 6 of those hits being extra bases (2 doubles, 4 home runs). He collected 10 RBI while scoring another nine times himself. He added two walks, two hit-by-pitches and stole a pair of bases as well.

The outfielder moves well defensively as well, showing off an upper 80s arm during our Preseason All-State event in February.
