2024 Prep Baseball Iowa Diamond Notes: Week 3

Owen Siegert LHP / OF / West Marshall, IA / 2024

The South Dakota State commit had a tear this week, banging out nine hits including three doubles, two triples and four stolen bases. He drove in seven and scored seven. Speaking of scoring runs, Siegert's 35 runs scored on the year is currently second highest in the state.

1-0 pitching, 7 innings, 0 runs, 2 hits, 7 Ks.

Tate Loffswold 2B / 3B / Sergeant Bluff Luton, IA / 2025

11-19 (.578) this week at the plate with 5 doubles, 6 RBI, 3 runs scored. Defensively recorded 8 assists and 12 putouts at 2nd base and helped team to a 4-2 record throughout the course of the week. Heading into this past weekend Loffswold is hitting .310 on the year.

Tucker Ladeburg / RHP / Wapsie Valley , IA / 2024

Offensively, Ladeburg had nine hits in 15 at bats (.600) with five extra base hits (3 doubles, triple, and home run). He drove in 11 and scored of his own. He also went 1-0 with 5 innings pitched, allowing a single hit with nine strikeouts to beat North Linn.

The Wartburg commit's 31 total RBI is currently tied for the state's lead.

Milo Kelley C / 1B / Davenport Central , IA / 2025

The Iowa commit had a breakout week offensively against Bettendorf and Ankeny, hitting a home run in each game and doubling in each contest as well. Kelley is a tough out and currently has 17 RBI and 7 doubles on the season, which puts him towards the top of the MAC in each category. 

Brandon Cummer LHP / Dubuque Wahlert, IA / 2026

Save vs Dubuque Senior and a 13 K, 2-hitter CG vs Cedar Falls.

Offensively, he went 9 for 15 in 4 games.

Max Martin 2B / SS / Ames, IA / 2027

14-for-25 (.560) with two doubles, 11 runs driven in, and was hit three times by pitches. 

Isaiah Kettler OF / RHP / Pella, IA / 2025

6 G, 10-14 (.714), 3 2B, 1 3B, 1 HR (1.286 SLG), 12 R, 8 RBI, 4 BB, 0 K, 5-5 SB, 2.063 OPS. 

Kettler's .636 average and 11 doubles on the year currently leads Iowa.

Brady Coffman RHP / 1B / Grinnell, IA / 2025

In three games, Coffman went 11 for 18 (.611 AVG) with 3 home runs, 13 RBI, and 9 runs scored.
