Asher Allen, SS/2B/RHP, Central HS, 2028

Uncommitted. 5-foot-7, 175-pound frame with power in the barrel and an accurate, advanced feel at the plate. Maintains composure behind in the count and stays aggressive. Pitched a pair of innings in Game 4 against Team Virginia. FB ran up to 80, flirted with 2000 rpm, paired well with a CV that collected whiffs and weak contact in the low 70’s.

Jackson Bredeson, OF/RHP, Walton HS, 2028
Uncommitted. 6-foot-2, 165-pound frame with great opposite field feel for the barrel. Displayed an excellent piece of hitting with a lead-off barrel in the top of the last inning, into left-field down the line for a standup double. Maintained composure and aggressiveness early in the count that showed payed off. Shows an advanced feel, and confidence at the plate. Short load that syncs up well and has a disciplined swing that keeps the barrel through the zone for hard contact.

Andrew Akopov, OF/RHP, Mount Paran Christian School, 2028
Uncommitted. The physical athlete at 6-foot, 180-pounds, continues to impress in every aspect over Junior Future Games. The incoming freshman picked up yet another knock, changing plane with fluid hands through the zone. Showing an advanced feel for the barrel with all-fields leverage. On the mound showed an intriguing arsenal with the FB primarily sitting 82-84 MPH and topping at 85 MPH with sink and run. The Curveball was shown at 69 MPH. Will be a name to know going into his freshman year at Mount Paran.

Wesley Thiry, RHP/3B, Norcross HS, 2028
Uncommitted. The athletic 6-foot-1, 175-pound incoming freshman caught a barrel at an exit velocity of 88 MPH, leading-off the game against Team Virginia in the first round of Bracket play. Shows a natural ability to sync up with pull-side leverage to match and a good feel for the barrel. The upside on both sides of the ball has stuck out over the course of Junior Future Games.
