Summer Uncommitted Spotlight: Aiden Moore

Uncommitted. The RHP put together a stellar campaign over the Summer. Opened eyes late in July showcasing some truly wicked stuff on the mound. Displays a shorter arm action, as all three pitches tunnel well off one another.  Moore is armed with a true three-pitch mix with dynamic movement patterns. During the summer, the fastball was shown at 85-87 with 2400 RPM + and ride through the zone with a max IVB of ''22 inches. The slider sat in the 78-80 range with 2600 RPM +. The curveball sits 74-77 with 2500 RPM +. Over 29 innings of work, struck out 45. Displayed heavy swing-and-miss with the entire arsenal. Held a 2.45 ERA with a 1.3 WHIP and an opponent batting average against of .231. A projectable athletic frame at 6-foot, 175-pounds. Moore has already seen a velo jump this fall as he has been up to 89 with more to come. A name to circle as the junior looks poised to have a massive season for Hillgrove this Spring.

Uncommitted. Moore showed some wicked stuff on Sunday night. Working with a dynamic three-pitch mix the right-handed pitcher picked up eight strikeouts over 4.2 innings of work. Showing the fastball at 85-87 MPH with 2400+ RPM and an eye-opening “22 IVB. The slider sat 77-80 MPH with 2600 RPM + and the curveball at 74-77 with 2500 RPM +. Moore showed an innate feel for spin with dynamic movement patterns on the three-pitch mix. The incoming junior is poised for a breakout year and will be a must watch name at Hillgrove in the spring.
