As always, the evaluation process is a fluid and ongoing process with multiple viewings in order to get the best feel for players abilities. It’s important to note that as players continue their development some show marked improvement at a much more rapid pace. That doesn’t indicate that other players got worse or went backwards, it’s just how player development works. As the year unfolds, players make improvements and new prospects pop up on the radar expanding the PBR rankings universe. In addition to the evaluations of players, our scouts, both those in Georgia and nationally, have also had multiple discussions with each other to review our individual lists and then make adjustments based on what we've each seen.

The Super 60 Six
It’s set to be a banner year for the state of Georgia at Prep Baseball’s premier preseason event with a record six players making the trip to Chicago for Super 60.
It starts with the #2 player in the class and 2024 Prep Baseball All-American RHP Reid Worley, who is coming off one of the biggest years out of anyone in the class and has a chance to be among the spin kings at this year’s event with a mid-80s slider that he consistently snaps off at 3200+ RPM.
Two-time All-American OF Cannon Goldin joins the mix as the Ole Miss commit looks to showcase his loud defensive tools with the plus arm strength and speed that help point towards his plus ceiling in center field.
If there’s a player in this group who has a chance to blow up the day, it’s OF/SS John Stuetzer. A 6.4 runner, the Florida State commit also boasts immense feel for the barrel and present plus bat speed that can really stand out in BP.
Right along those lines, SS Josh Gibbs is a powderkeg of an athlete in a compact frame, who’s done nothing but hit the ball as hard as anyone in the class on a consistent basis. The Georgia commit can also run it up to the low-90s across the infield as well as being a present above-average runner.
Closing out the group are a pair of players who are set to complete an impressive Prep Baseball timeline while also setting the standard. SS/OF Terrance Bowen and LHP Cooper Underwood become the first ever players from the Peach state to be participants of the Junior Future Games, Future Games and now Super 60.
Bowen is poised to show off the plus bat speed in one of most potent swings in the class. Underwood has the pure stuff from the left side for a breakout performance in Chicago. Holding low-90s with immense spin and ride while pairing with a pure put-away pitch in a low-80s slider that creates massive swing-and-miss from advanced tilt and sweep.
Fall Performers
Ben Martin, RHP, Allatoona (101 to 47th overall)
Jumping into the top-50 overall is one of the pure high-octane arms in the state. After coming out in January at Preseason All-State sitting 89-92, the Tennessee commit would steadily get stronger throughout the year and finish the fall holding mid-90s with minimal effort. The arm speed jumps out in a compact arm action that gets on top of hitters quickly. Command can waver at times but leans on effectively wild while rarely leaving hittable pitches over the plate in an uncomfortable AB. Mixes in a sharp, firm slider at 82-84 that plays very well at the bottom of the zone with gyro movement. Martin has the clay to be a premier power arm at the next level as the overall refinement continues to improve.
Porter Berryman, LHP, Parkview (78 to 60)
Berryman had an outstanding junior season for the Panthers that helped lead himself into a tremendous showing in travel ball season and culminated into a truly standout performance to close the fall. With an advanced feel to pitch, the Brown commit has a great ability to use his entire pitch mix with confidence. Fastball lives in the high-80s with some natural cut and carry that creates a tough look. Slider has a chance to be an above-average offering at 75-78 with bite and ability to manipulate to add and subtract sweep at will. Shows a tendency to create in-zone misses as well as the ability to land for called strikes. Changeup plays off the fastball well in the low-80s with some tumble. Berryman is set to be the ace for the perennial powerhouse Parkview this upcoming spring, and looks prepared to repeat as a 1st-team all-state selection.
Cole Johnson, OF, Oconee County (19 to 17)
Johnson continued to solidify himself as one of the top outfielders in the state as well as top-20 overall with a great string of fall showings for Devine Baseball. Offering truly advanced plate coverage and feel for the barrel that allows the Georgia commit to show an all-fields approach and above-average hit tool. The overall balance in the swing with advanced hands point to even more potential at the plate as well for Johnson, who still holds projection in the 6-foot-2, 180-pound frame. The former Future Gamer overall has one of the highest floors in the class, but that still could be selling him short.
Vick Gann, OF, Houston County (67 to 59)
The recent Georgia-Gwinnett commit showed one of the most consistent hit tools throughout the fall that included an MVP-level performance at Senior State Games. Armed with potentially 60 grade speed that played up even more in-game with a couple sub-4.0 home-to-first times and effortless standup triples. The aptitude to work backside stands out as an asset for Gann where the speed can thrive and produce extra-bases at will. There’s present bat speed and sneaky strength in the frame that can create triple-digit exit velocities to the pull-side as well. It’s an impressive batted ball profile that showed up this fall and could be in-line for a massive spring campaign as Houston County looks for a yet another 25+ win season.
Cohen Rogers, OF/LHP, South Forsyth (132 to 87)
The epitome of a gamer and recent North Georgia commit, Rogers consistently showed a strong two-way profile this fall in multiple settings. Compact left-handed cut finds barrels at a high clip while using both gaps with ease from a linear bat path. Will turn on the ball at times while creating some loft that alludes to some sneaky raw pop in the 6-foot-0, 170-pound frame as well. True positional flexibility with ability to play all three outfield spots and first base, while being above-average in either corner due to quality arm strength and actions. Meanwhile, the path to be South Forsyth’s Ace this spring is evident for Rogers. A quality mover armed with a legit three-pitch mix from a lower three-quarters slot. Fastball lives 85-88 with some run while pairing with a swing-and-miss curveball at 74-76 that creates plenty of depth. Changeup lacks behind some at 76-77 but good fade and improving feel give the pitch a good baseline to be a strong offering eventually.
