October 12, 2023
Renard Stricklin Jr., RHP, 2026, Westlake
+ 5-foot-11 170-pounds. #89th ranked player in the state. Stricklin continues to let the athleticism shine in his game. He hopped on the mound in a one run game, and closed the door. He attacked hitters with the fastball. He was able to elevate it for swing and miss. Stricklin is a 2-way prospect that could continue to rise in the class.
Chance Dixon, SS, 2026, Woodward Academy
+5-foot-8 140-pounds. Dixon has made some strides physically since the summer. He is beginning to fill out the frame, and using the strength to his advantage at the plate. A stronger lower half has helped Dixon drive the balls into the gap with wood. He already had a great approach at the plate. He is the ideal leadoff candidate. He likes to hit early in the count, but will only swing if it is the pitch he is looking for. He is a + runner on the base paths with good instincts are dirt ball reads. The infield actions play well over at 2B, and can range to both sides to make the tough plays.
JC Slavis 3B, 2026, Pope
+6-foot-3 175-pounds. Slavis tallied 4 hits in 3 games, and tossed a couple scoreless innings on the mound. The frame stands out over at 3B, and has all the right actions to go with it. He stands tall at the plate, and made some good adjustments on pitches out of the zone. He has present power to the pull side. Slavis will be one to watch at powerhouse, Pope the next few years.
Aiden Craven, OF/LHP, 2026, Chelsea (AL)
+5-foot-6 145-pounds. Pound for pound one of the strongest athletes all weekend. The #35 ranked player in the state of Alabama is an all around gamer. Plays the game hard, looks to get on 2nd base out of the box on every hit. Good closing speed in CF with a strong arm. Hopped on the mound in a relief appearance in the semi final game to shut the door, and control the lead to give the win to head to the championship game.
Branson Crawford, C, 2026, Gainesville
+ Crawford is the top ranked catcher in the Georgia 2026 rankings. He had a strong weekend both on the mound and at the plate. Crawford provided a big double during bracket play of the Underclass World Series. He has a very explosive swing, and can show some sneaky gap to gap power. Behind the plate Crawford is very athletic, and quick. He likes to back pick and can throw runners with his quickness and big arm.
