Emerson GA - On May 31st we hosted the LakePoint Rising Stars I.D. to kick off showcase season for PBR Georgia. The event consisted of 2027-2028 grads. These events are a great way to learn the showcase process for the years to come, and also have the opportunity to be selected to the Junior Future Games team. The players went through a pro-style working, and took batting practice with  Trackman metrics. Pitchers were able to throw a bullpen and were able to get numbers and metrics off of our Trackman unit, such as pitch velocity, spin rate, horizontal & vertical movement & much more.

Brooks Blanton, Cherokee (GA), 2027
Positional Profile: SS/RHP
Body: 5-5, 115-pounds.
Delivery: Simple, efficient delivery. Good temp with a strong finish.
Arm Action: RH. Over the top slot. Lots of strikes with all pitches.
FB: T71, 69-71 mph. Commands both sides of the plate. Good life down in the zone.  T1898, 1818 average rpm.
CB: 57-58 mph. Good feel for spin. Threw it for strikes with sharp break.  T2237, 2130 average rpm.
CH: 59-63 mph. Good speed difference and spin. Kept it down in the zone for strikes.  T1116, 1113 average rpm.

Matthew Davis Jr., Undecided (NC), 2027
Positional Profile: OF/LHP
Body: 5-10, 155-pounds. Slim, athletic frame.
Delivery: Smooth leg drive, and gets into his back side well.
Arm Action: LH. Higher 3/4 slot.
FB: T68, 66-68 mph. Arm side run,  T1827, 1684 average rpm.
CB: 55-57 mph. Slurve like. Good spin when he was able to get on top of it more.  T1255, 1193 average rpm.
CH: 57-60 mph. Downward action.  T942, 896 average rpm.

Hunter Duchaj, North Paulding (GA), 2027
Positional Profile: LHP/OF
Body: 5-11, 160-pounds. Tall, athletic frame.
Delivery: Smooth temp. Strong back leg drive. Gets down the mound and finishes over the front knee.
Arm Action: LH. High 3/4. Good action.
FB: T78, 75-77 mph. Some arm side run. Good life.
CB: 61-64 mph. Good break when down in the zone. Could throw it for strikes.  
SL: 64-67 mph.

Eyen Etris, North Hall (GA), 2028
Positional Profile: SS/RHP
Body: 5-5, 120-pounds. Short, athletic frame.
Delivery: Easy tempo with a simple delivery. Stays in line, and gets down the mound.
Arm Action: RH. Over the top slot. Clean action.
FB: T70, 68-70 mph. Lots of strikes. Good spin, and kept it down in the zone.  T1829, 1726 average rpm.
CB: 58-59 mph. Threw it for strikes. Late break.  T1797, 1744 average rpm.

Delivery: Smooth delivery, and moves well with the tall, lanky frame. Stays in his back side, and generates power throughout the delivery.
