Pike County

Braden Osbolt, RHP, Pike County, 2022
Kennesaw State commit. 6-foot-3, 210-pound right-handed pitcher, strong, sturdy frame. Started against Calhoun, going 3.0 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 4 K, 2 BB. Easy effort, repeatable delivery, short arm action to a ¾ slot, more in the tanks. Showed a three pitch mix, pitches to both sides of the plate. Fastball sat 86-88, touched 89, armside run. Curveball, 11/5 shape, 71-73, good feel for breaking ball, induced some swing and miss. Changeup, 78-80, sinking action.

Mason Trucks, RHP, Pike County, 2023
Uncommitted. 6-foot-1, 190-pound right-handed pitcher, broad shoulders, strong lower half, room for more. Came out of the bullpen against Calhoun, 2.0 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 4 K, 0 BB. Arm works short and clean on the back-side, hides the ball well creating deception. Gets goo extension through an over-the-top slot, working downhill. Fastball sat 85-87, touched 88, located to both sides of the plate with heavy sinking action. Changeup, 76-77, preferred offspeed pitch on this day, heavy sink, worked the edges with. Curveball, 66-68, 12/6 shape.
