6-foot 210-pounds. Barden came through with a big hit to get East Forsyth back in the game. He impressed when he stepped foot on the mound for the final 2 innings with their season on the line. The frame stands out when he steps on the mound, and has a powerful delivery. He stays in his legs in his delivery, and drops the arm slot slightly. He will come across his body at times, but keeps the ball hidden and will get some cut when he does so. The arm is loose, and whippy and has a ton of potential for velo growth. He flashed a plus power change up that he threw back foot to righty’s that really gave them trouble. The fastball was up to 87, and was mostly 86 for 2 innings of work. He faced the toughest part of the line up with runners on base and his team leading by 2. He stepped up in a big situation and showed a ton of competitiveness and composure.
Mac Brooks, OF, Tift County, 2025‘25 RHP Wyatt Barden (@BaseballEFHS) finishes it out and punches their ticket to the elite 8.

Strong frame, attacked hitters with the FB, and mixed in a power CH for swing and miss. More velo to come 📈@ShooterHunt @PBR_Uncommitted pic.twitter.com/Nkiy7oDf5R
6-foot-2 175-pounds. Brooks is one of three impressive sophomore bats in the Tift line up. He was the one give the offense the spark it needed in game 3. He had a multi hit game with the season on the line. He has a college ready frame, and moves well at 6-2 175. He keeps the hands quiet in the load, and can handle the pitch on the outer half really well. The bat bath produces consistent line drive contact. Mac Brooks will be a name to know this summer.
‘25 OF Mac Brooks with his 2nd hit of the day to give @TIFT_BASEBALL the lead.

One of many smooth LH swings in the Tift line up. Great back side approach and picks up the FB up early. @ShooterHunt pic.twitter.com/JoMH7zZNia
