Future Games Spotlight - 3B/RHP KJ Moon

Phil Kerber
Georgia Scouting Director

The 2022 PBR Future Games are less than a week away, and will be here in no time. With that being said, we would like to introduce you to this year's Team Georgia. We will roll out individual player spotlights with comments, video, stats, and more over the next few days.

The lone prospect on Team Georgia who will pull two-way duties is 3B/OF/RHP KJ Moon (North Oconee, 2024). Our staff has always been very high on Moon as an arm, where he can sit in the upper-80s. He complements his firms fastball with a big 12/6 breaking ball and a fading changeup. However, Moon did not see much action on the mound this spring season with the stable of arms North Oconee had. He forced his way into the lineup nonetheless with his big bat. Moon became a regular and helped the Titans to their 1st 4A State Title. He has big power to all fields and consistently makes loud contact.
