From the Hip: NPI, Day One

+ OF Max Clark, Franklin, IN & OF Andrew Wiggins, Heritage Christian, IN
Summer teammates for years with the Indiana Bulls, Clark and Wiggins have tortured lineups for the previous three summers, and kicked off the fourth with a loud performance. A day after eviscerating balls and clearing the concourse with a multitude of home runs at the NPI ProCase, the slugging left-handers created more buzz in game play. Clark was a must-watch for any player, parent, or scout not already on a field, and had the concourse packed four and five deep each time he stepped to the dish. He did not disappoint, and with the multitude of eyes upon him, hammered a ball into the right-center field gap, nearly running down Wiggins before he could get to third. Later on, Wiggins delivered his patented back side laser that went for a triple.
Every time I see 2023 OF Andrew Wiggins, he finds the barrel and a gap. Laces one to left-center here for a two-run triple. Balanced and strong. @PBRIndiana | @prepbaseball | @ShooterHunt | #NPI2022 pic.twitter.com/JbXvnnA7dc
