PBR Georgia hit the road for its second stop on the Fall Campus Tour on Sunday, October 30th at J.I Clements Stadium on the campus of Georgia Southern. This event featured around 25 prospects from the 2023-2026 classes. Prospects participated in a pro-style workout that included the 60 yard dash, batting practice in and out, and pitcher bullpens.

We started the event analysis with a look at the traditional stats in the form of a "Stats Story". That was followed up by the initial thoughts and reactions from our staff in our "Quick Hits". Today, we jump into the player analysis with full reports on all the position players in attendance. This will be followed up by the pitcher reports. Top Prospects

Calvin Johnson, Frederick Douglass (KY), 2025
Positional Profile: 2B/SS Advanced athlete.
Body: 5-9, 130-pounds.
Hit: . Open setup, smooth rhythm in hands, short load with a high back elbow, reverse toe tap stride, good balance, some explosiveness in lower half. Short barrel path to the zone with quick hand and bat speed, gets level and extended through the zone, line drive hitter who can use the entire field, great feel for barrel.
Power: 87 max exit velocity, averaged 82.4 mph. 317’ max distance.
Arm: RH. INF - 76.00 mph. OF - 77.00 mph. Short, clean arm action, quick arm speed, over-the-top slot, throws are accurate with true back spin.
Defense:Athletic defender in the outfield and on the infield, similar actions, plays through the ball with quick, fluid footwork, soft, confident glove, quick on exchanges, great body control.

Jackson Sammons, Savannah Country Day  (GA), 2025
Positional Profile: RHP/OF Exceptional two-way prospect with serious potential both as a position player and pitcher. Elite swing mechanics, elite FB metrics. 
Body: 6-0, 160-pounds.
Hit: . Tall, narrow base with weight stacked over backside. Shoulders & hips square to mound with relaxed hands just above hitting slot, barrel angled toward eventual launch position.  Extremely efficient separation with perfect launch position creates a short, direct path with optimal extension at contact. Lofty path, attacks ball in front of plate.
Power: 90 max exit velocity, averaged 83.3 mph. 312’ max distance. Natural, all fields backspin that carries very well. Matches all pitch planes with ease.
Arm: RH. OF - 85.00 mph. Long, loose arm action from H3/4 slot. Tons of carry.
Defense:Good feet, covers plenty of ground with long strides. Aggressive through ball with easy transfer. Rangy.

Taylor Maciaszek, Greenbrier  (GA), 2025
Positional Profile: C/3B
Body: 5-10, 186-pounds.
Hit: . Wide, balanced setup, keeps it simple, hand start high, short load, no stride, rocks weight back to gain momentum, good balance, some explosiveness in lower half. Short to the zone, gets level and on plane early, quick hand and bat speed, ball jumps off the bat with extension, present power to the pull-side, driving power gap-to-gap.
Power: 88 max exit velocity, averaged 80.5 mph. 304’ max distance.

Hit: . Open setup, smooth rhythm in hands, hands load back, short stride, good balance. Barrel works short to the zone, uphill through with extension at-times, ball jumps off the bat, gap-to-gap power hitter.
Power: 91 max exit velocity, averaged 81.3 mph. 330’ max distance. Advanced strength in hands and wrists, able to produce big exit velocity.
Arm: RH. INF - 72.00 mph. Long arm action with a stab on the back-side, high 3/4 slot.

Noah Bunch, Ware County (GA), 2024
Positional Profile: OF/OF
Body: 5-10, 160-pounds.
Hit: . Balanced setup, keeps it simple throughout, short hand load followed by a short stride, good balance. Drops barrel following load, gets on plane, uphill through the zone, looks to elevate and drive the ball middle/pull, smooth.

Jadon Muller, Benedictine Military School (GA), 2026
Positional Profile: OF/3B
Body: 5-10, 175-pounds.
Hit: . Simple setup with base just outside shoulders, tall relaxed stance. Active movement in hands.  Some loop to path but very solid bat 2 ball skills. Low effort swing, hands work well. Will need to work on flattening path up in zone.
Power: 77 max exit velocity, averaged 69 mph. 229’ max distance. Gap to gap barrels, natural strength creates impact thru contact.
Arm: RH. OF - 75.00 mph. Two piece arm action from overhand slot. Needs more fluidity and momentum.
Defense:Works through ball well with balance and impressive lower half momentum.
Run: 7.71 runner in the 60.

Cardin Patrick, Savannah Christian (GA), 2026
Positional Profile: C/3B
Body: 5-5, 155-pounds.
Hit: . Wide base just outside shoulders with relaxed upper half and quiet hands.  Very repeatable rhythm in little C load with very strong hands thru contact. Smooth path with length to it, bottom hand/front arm need more control in swing so the knob can work close to body.
Power: 75 max exit velocity, averaged 64.7 mph. 203’ max distance. Very solid pop for age, plenty power soon to come!
Arm: RH. C - 65.00 mph. Short arm action from 3/4 slot, very accurate throws for age. 
Defense: 2.29-2.43 pop times. Stabs at ball instead of letting it come to him, just needs to be patient  and exchange will work faster. Solid direction.
Run: 8.75 runner in the 60.

Ryan Renfroe, Thomasville (GA), 2023
Positional Profile: RHP/3B Late blooming prospect with lightning arm speed on the mound and multiple pitches with quality life. Potential to throw very hard.
Body: 6-3, 195-pounds.
Hit: . Backside dominant hitter who  Slightly uphill path with length at times. Plenty of pop.
Power: 93 max exit velocity, averaged 85.7 mph. 263’ max distance. Gap to gap backspin with impressive bat 2 ball skills.
Arm: RH. INF - 87.00 mph. Electric arm from the No. 6 position, all throws carry perfectly.
Defense:Feet always working toward bag, soft hands, quick exchange.
Run: 7.12 runner in the 60.

Sam Renshaw, Calvary Day (GA), 2025
Positional Profile: 3B/OF
Body: 6-1, 165-pounds.
Hit: . Wide, square base, slightly closed upper half. Good active rhythm in hands as hips start the hands.  Repeats load well, feel for separation timing which creates a mostly direct path. Hands work inside the ball well when he repeats swing.
Power: 85 max exit velocity, averaged 80.1 mph. 196’ max distance. Pull side dominant line drives with some feel to go the other way.
Arm: RH. INF - 79.00 mph. OF - 84.00 mph. Short circle arm action with quick release.
Defense:Uses feet well, good positioning and works through ball. Creates solid momentum with lower half.

Cameron Smith, Tift County  (GA), 2024
Positional Profile: C/3B
Body: 5-10, 160-pounds.
Hit: . Wide, athletic base thats slightly open. Shoulders square, hands setup near head with vertical barrel.  Sweeping path, hands roll through contact.
Power: 87 max exit velocity, averaged 83.1 mph. 295’ max distance. Solid feel for barrel, ball comes off well when he catches it out front.
Arm: RH. C - 70.00 mph. Short, quick arm action from 3/4 slot with accurate throws, typically to right side of bag.
Defense: 2.07-2.19 pop times. Smooth, well paced transfer. Consistent footwork

Anthony Thomas, Bryan county (GA), 2025
Positional Profile: 1B/RHP
Body: 5-11, 180-pounds.
Hit: . Base slightly closed, good weight distribution (55% backside, 45% front side). Ride backside in stride well creating linear connection as hands are thrown.  Level path with ability to steepen barrel angle on low ball. Some sweep to the swing at times, good feel for inside-out path where he's more direct. Consistent barrels.
Power: 82 max exit velocity, averaged 72.9 mph. 268’ max distance. Ball carries with backspin to both gaps, uses entire field.
Arm: RH. INF - 73.00 mph. Efficient, full circle arm action
Defense:  Moves well around the bag, clean on exchanges, feel for the glove.

Tyler Walling, Wayne County  (GA), 2024
Positional Profile: C/1B
Body: 6-0, 235-pounds.
Hit: . Base just outside shoulders, well balanced, head centered. Bat relaxed horizontally off shoulder with active, quiet rhythm in the hips & hands. Compact path with just as much feel for the inside-out swing as turning the barrel in tight space. Occasional cast causes length at times but very repeatable with optimal barrel angle. 
Power: 91 max exit velocity, averaged 82.6 mph. 262’ max distance. Ball jumps to both gaps - slight top spin to left center, back spin to right center.
Arm: RH. C - 72.00 mph. Short, overhand arm action. Elbow gets low at times causing ball to sail up & away arm side.
Defense: 2.22-2.32 pop times. Solid footwork and hip direction toward bag.
Run: 8.06 runner in the 60.
