Memorial day weekend was action packed with players from the 2024-2029 class. In event we took a look at some guys that made impacts in our quick hits articles from days 1 and 2. Here we take a deeper look with scouting reports and videos from players that made an impression on our scouting staff. 

Rhett Slagle, RHP/3B, Elizabethton (TN), 2026
Uncommitted. 6’1” 185lbs, sturdy, durable frame. Worked efficiently in his outing, showing good command. Worked mainly off the fastball and slider, but mixed in a changeup on occasion. Fastball showed life up in the zone and sink and arm-side run to the bottom. Good feel for both. Slider flashed two-plane break, with more sweep than depth. Changeup had late fading action. Competed on the mound, attacked hitters.

Isaiah Cador, MIF, Union Grove (GA), 2028
Uncommitted. 5’6”147 pound frame. Plenty of time to fill out, but has a strong lower half. Showed off some really impressive actions at the plate. The moves are incredibly athletic and under control throughout. The approach was mature for his age, and he seemed in control of all of his at bats, all weekend. The swing in itself is a good one as well. The hands certainly have some whip to them, and he showed off some pullside juice this weekend. High follow.

Cooper Lewis, LHP, Chamblee Charter (GA), 2025
Uncommitted. 6’2” 200lbs, strong lower half, long legs. Loud look on the mound today. Opened up comfortably sitting 90-92, before reaching back to grab a 94 to strike out the side and end the inning. Fastball showed good life up in the zone and overpowered opposing hitters. Struggled to land secondary offerings in the first but settled in after coming out for the second. Curveball showed good break with a slurve-shape at 75-76. Tight spin. Splitter was intriguing, killing spin to sub 900rpm. Provided a good tunnel off of the fastball, and showed plus flashes. Big time projection and a live arm, will be a big time get in the 2025 class as he keeps maturing into his body and finds a more repeatable motion. Command did get erratic at times.

Sinjon Lash, RHP, LaGrange (GA), 2025
Navy commit, 6’4” 207lb durable frame with present strength. Opened the game at 86-90 T91 with the fastball before settling in in the later innings at 84-86. Showed good life on the fastball which paired excellently with the curveball. All the makings of a plus offering, he threw it 74-75 with big time depth. Power spin, kept hitters off balance and offered a really good N/S look.

Austin Treadwell, RHP, Marietta (GA), 2025
Uncommitted 5’11 175lbs. First outing back since TJ and did not disappoint. Came out sitting 87-90 hit 91 in the first. Fastball had good carry with really high spin getting up to 2530 and slider tunneled well also spinning it really good getting up to 2935 averaging 2825. Threw 2 innings, fastball settled in at 86-88 but still had good life that had whiffs. Finished the outing throwing 43 pitches. I expect this to go up as the season goes on.

Braydon Antonelli, RHP, Woodstock (GA), 2025
Uncommitted 6’2 190lbs. Really impressed me yesterday out of the pen. Came out and dominated with the curveball and commanded it at any count. Fastball tunneled well with the curveball jamming hitters and producing weak contact. FB was living 86-88 and CB was 72-74. Frame projects well and could be a riser this summer.

KJ Hart, RHP/OF, River Ridge, 2025
Uncommitted 6’6” 220lbs. Large, strong and durable frame. Smooth, simple actions on the mound, throws with minimal effort. Showed off the explosive arsenal out of the bullpen, with two different fastballs and two different sliders. Four-seam fastball sat 90-92, topped 93 with big time carry, creating solid tilt from the 6’7” release height. Two-seam sat 90-91 with 19 inches of ride. Hart threw the gyro slider at 82-85, with a 2 vertical, 0 horizontal movement profile. Tight spin. The sweeping slider sat 80-81, creating 15 inches of sweep. Super late break, caught some ugly swings on it. Command was solid through 2IP, but struggled a bit in the 3rd. Managed to get through 3 clean innings, and really impressed in the process.

Bradley Lenz, RHP, Veterans, 2027
Uncommitted 6’2” 165 pounds. Lanky frame, tons of room to fill out. Super live arm, impressed in his start this weekend. Showed 3 good pitches and advanced athleticism as he worked down the mound. Lenz worked the fastball 85-86 t87 and established it up the zone, where the 19 IVB really played for him, getting a lot of whiffs underneath. His slider sat 76-79 with ~2600rpm and 12 inches of sweep. Tight, late break. He also mixed in a changeup to lefties at 80-81 with some killed spin and 17 inches of run. Really impressive 3 pitch mix, and Lenz showed impressive feel for all 3, not struggling with command much during the outing at all. High follow 2027.

Joshua Henson, SS/RHP, Buckhorn (AL), 2025
Southeastern Louisiana commit. 6’2” 210 pound frame. Sturdy and durable. Impressed during his start in the 17u championship. Worked with some really athletic movements down the mound, and he had the entire arsenal working to secure a championship for his team. The fastball worked 86-88 t90 with ~20IVB, allowing him to miss a lot of bats underneath. The slider worked in the 77-80 range with a bit of carry and 10 inches of sweep. He seemed comfortable with it and went to it often. Threw it up in the zone a good bit, and got some really ugly swings as hitters couldn’t seem to figure out whether to swing or take. He also mixed in a curveball, thrown at 73-74 with 11/5 shape. Had a very impressive weekend.

Trey Luke OF/LHP , Rockmart, 2026
Uncommitted. Luke really impressed out of the TL10 16u team. Really athletic player leading off both innings with 90+ EV hits up the middle. Gets good separation and has fast hands that can get to the FB. Projectable frame that should continue to get better as he matures. Luke is also strong on the mound running his FB up 87. Good follow this summer.

Brady Sack, RHP/OF, Auburn Junior HS (AL), 2027
Uncommitted. Worked well from both the windup and the stretch on Saturday night, had a good outing going 6.0 IP with 8K’s and only 1 ER. FB(T84, 83-80) had good tilt, and left either down low in the zone or up and away from hitters. CV(65-64) had a good vertical drop that caught whiffs throughout the game. CH(78-76) thrown primarily up and away from hitters and had whiffs and pop-fly outs. Good deceptive combinations always seemed to have the hitters guessing. Got into several jams later in the game with RISP and had bases loaded, and maintained excellent poise to pitch and get out of it. Only gave up 4 hits on the night, and 3 BB’s.

Conor Gray, RHP/INF, Centennial HS (TN), 2026
Uncommitted. Came in for relief in the fourth inning with one out. Faced two batters and struck out both of them with the same sequence. FB(T88, 86-84) easy 2k rpm, had tons of life up in the zone with command on the corners for called strikes. SL (71-68) cut horizontally away from RHH, and commanded the front-door for called strikes and whiffs, Only threw 2 ⅓ innings, but with 4 K’s.

Ryker Shankles, SS/RHP, Fort Payne HS (AL), 2026
Uncommitted. Had a loud barrel in what was an otherwise hitless game for the Canes in their last pool play game on Monday. Hard line drive to deep left field w/ RISP cracked the first runs of the game. Had 300+ feet of carry and with an exit velocity of 89 mph, for a 2-RBI double. Ryker showed great confidence as their 2-spot hitter, and definitely a leader on this Canes 16u squad. Short-compact swing, toe-tap load, generates good bat speed, gets out of the box quickly, legged-out infield singles and caught multiple barrels throughout the tournament. He came in to pitch in the championship game on Tuesday against a solid TL10 16u team, and flirted with a no-hitter through 5 innings. FB(74-71, 2270-2100 RPM), CH(69-66, 1490 RPM), CV(66-64, 1799-2086 RPM). Had hitters out in front nearly the whole game, CH sat down in the zone for ground-ball outs, FB had command up and away from RHH for whiffs, CV threw for a good back-door look on the lefties.

Luke Ritchie, OF/RHP, Riverwood International Charter School, 2026
Uncommitted. Luke Ritchie was a familiar name coming into the weekend. Extremely aggressive approach at the plate, he swung at almost anything that was considered “hit-able”. Had over four hits between Saturday and Sunday. Loose hands, quick load, good mid-pitch adjustments, feasted on FB’s on the inner-half of the plate and CH’s up in the zone. Confirmed the rumors. Solid bat.

Bryce Rivers, 3B/2B, Mobile Christian HS (AL), 2026
Uncommitted. RIvers shows an effortless, solid inside-to-out swing with aggressiveness at the plate, and disciplined at the plate. RIvers had a hard hit line-drive down the left field line for a stand-up double scoring 2-runs. Second AB, got his hips and hands in on CH middle-in and even though he was early, kept his weight back to maintain power and muscled one up the middle for another RBI knock. Uncommitted name to follow in the 2026 class.

Tucker Hale, RHP/1B, Houston County, 2025
Uncommitted. Works from the stretch. Flirted with a no-hitter for 3 innings before his outing ending in the 4th. Had 6K’s // 1 BB // 3.0 IP. Hale had two consistent pitches that he relied on for the outing, FB (85-83) cut horizontally from the pitcher's glove side that came in on RHH. SL (74-73) late bite, good vertical movement away from RHH. Final inning stateline: 12 pitches, 3K’s, the last 9 pitches were all FB, all of which were whiffs.

Brady Christman, C/OF, Mary Parsons, 2025
The former future gamer is off to a hot start this summer showing good stuff this week at the State Games. Christman 6’0” 205 lbs has good size matched with power, but this doesn’t slow him down. The speed has been there and he moves good for his size, producing high batspeeds that allow him to get to any pitch. His hit-ability matched with strong power and fast hands is a good combo that will be fun to watch as the summer goes on.

Hayden Garcia, C, Norcross County, 2025
Uncommitted. Garcia is a defensive weapon at catcher for the Atlanta Outlaws. His great receiving skills and ability to control a game are a coach’s and pitcher’s dream. He also threw out 3 runners in the first game of the week at the State Games, showing some quick feet and strong arm to go along with his solid blocking skills. Garcia is definitely a player to watch as his bat continues to develop, as the floor for a guy with his defensive ability is high.

Cannon Maige, SS, Cairo, 2025
Uncommitted. Maige had a very strong week at the plate for the Atlanta Outlaws, and really shined in one of the pool play games, going 3-4 with an opposite field home run and 2 ground rule doubles. He also flashed the leather a couple times, holding down the middle infield for a solid Outlaws team. Maige had several other hits sprinkled throughout the week, and seems that he will be a prominent middle of the order bat for the remainder of the summer.

Aiden Hughes, OF, Chelsea (AL), 2025
Uncommitted. Hughes is a left handed bat that should begin getting some recognition as the summer progresses. A smooth, easy load from the left side with very whippy, quick hands through the zone. Showed the ability to hit the ball the other way with ease. Also, a good runner and a good outfielder, holding down center field for Excel. Hughes has plenty of time to fill out and grow as he is 5’10” 150 lbs currently, and could turn into a very prominent bat with the tools he already possesses. Good follow.

Preston Bretti, C, Kell, 2025
Uncommitted. Bretti is a sweet swinging left handed catcher with some big power potential. Strong, big frame at 5’11” 200 lbs and gets a lot of pop from a very strong lower half. Gets into his back hip well in his swings, which brings even more power and higher exit velocities. Bretti went deep pretty effortlessly in pool play, displaying this power with a left handed arm on the mound. Should be interesting to see how he progresses this summer.

Fisher Green, RHP/SS, Halls High School (TN), 2028
While Green still is not even in highschool, he was still one of the more impressive players seen at the GA State Games. In an elimination game against Braves Scout Team 14u, Green pitched his way to a complete game, 1 run victory for Seams Baseball 14u. Sitting 82-83 mph and touching 85 several times, Green clearly has some advanced velocity for his age. Not only did he have the stuff, but he had the competitive edge to back it up. He will only rise in the rankings as he gets bigger and stronger throughout the years, as he sits at 5’10” 150 lbs. Very interested to see his progress over the next few years as he gets older. High, high follow.

Evan Litschke, LHP, Mount Paran Christian School, 2028
Evan Litschke was Green’s counterpart in the matchup between Braves Scout Team 14u and Seams Baseball, and he was nearly just as impressive. Litschke is a left handed arm with easy, smooth, and very repeatable mechanics. He gets very easy velocity on his fastball, sitting 81-82 mph and touching 84. He works his off-speed pitches very well too, with a high spin curveball sitting 70-73 that he likes to use often, paired with a spin killing changeup that seems to be very developed for his age. Litschke is a wiry 5’11” 145 lbs, so he has plenty of room to grow and gain much more velocity over the next few years. Pair this with his advanced pitching ability and great mechanics, and he could become one of the top arms in his class. High follow.

Bryce Davis, 3B/C, North Paulding (GA), 2025
Davis really impressed this weekend with his ability to leg out those in between ground ball and legging out some doubles. He matched this speed with the ability to hit for power aswell, hitting one ball 331FT out at 91 EV. Davis also impressed with his defensive ability and ability to play multiple positions. Would not surprise me if Davis continued to polish his raw skill and have a good summer for TL10.

Thomas Thigpen, 2027 1B/OF, Undecided
Uncommitted. A lot to dream on here with Thigpen. Had a monster weekend where we saw him have 4 hits, spraying the ball all over the field with hard contact, including a go-ahead grand slam to the opposite field. A switch hitter, Thomas showed the ability from the left side as well. The biggest plus is he seems to have the same feel for the bat on both sides of the plate: keeping his hands inside the ball and barrel of his bat in the zone for a long time. This is particularly impressive given his advanced size (6’3/175) and young age. Thigpen is also a good runner, using his long legs to stride doubles into triples and swipe bags.

Slade Bounds, 2027, OF, Spain Park (AL)
Uncommitted. At 6’ 190, Bounds is a stocky right handed hitter. The strength was apparent this weekend, having a ton of loud contact to the pull side and opposite field. Filled out physically pretty well but it shows in his game in a big way. Super good approach at the plate, saw Bounds looking for fastballs and adjusting to off speed; taking them the other way when he needed. Has a super simple yet effective swing. Small stride + leg kick but does a good job staying on his back leg and using his strong lower half to drive the ball.

Jake Owen, 2028, INF/RHP, Central (TN)
Uncommitted. Owen is an older 2028 who shows very good upside on the mound, although primarily a 3B/SS pitched a really good game this weekend going 7 scoreless innings of 2 hit ball, striking out 9 while only walking 2. He was mostly 80 - 84 with his fastball, topping out at 85.5. What's most impressive is how he maintained his velocity throughout the game, reaching his top velocity all the way in the 7th inning. Super rare to see at such a young age. The good velo on the fastball allowed him to throw it a lot for strikes and use a good breaking ball at 76-77 (up to 2313 RPM) and a changeup to go along with it. Also hits 4 hole, solid approach at the plate as well saw him walk twice and single up the middle. Would be interesting to have a better look at him in the infield. More in the tank for him as well; 5’11 155 lbs.

Seth Pettett, C/MIF, Sequoyah (GA) 2025
Uncommitted. Petett is a pitcher's dream behind the dish with his great presence. He is a vocal leader who sets the tone for his team. At 6’2 180, he has a great frame to work with but will only continue to develop. On the catching side, Pettett is a great receiver as well as quick behind the plate in blocking and throwing guys out. Recently, Pettett’s velo from behind the dish was 75 mph, with a pop time that ranged from 1.95-2.08. These numbers do not show why he is a true backstop who takes pride in his defense. On the hitting side, Pettett possesses great tools as well. His simple approach allows him to hit about anything, and that showed this weekend. He hits in all counts, from two strikes to none, and goes gap to gap as well. Definitely a ‘25 that should not be uncommitted for too much longer.

Korbin Dietrich, 1B, Central (GA) 2025
Uncommitted. Dietrich is one of the most physical players in the state at 6’6 220. That sounds like a linebacker's build. Dietrich has a great approach at the plate, he keeps his feet close together, allowing his timing to be on point. He has a little bit of a leg kick that helps him generate some pop as well. The juice is definitely there, and he showed it off. That is not all he will do, which shows how disciplined he is. Dietrich will see a pitch deep and go backside as well, showing how developed he is as a hitter. With all that being said, Dietrich also gets it done in the classroom with a 4.1 GPA.

Kolby Jones, MIF/RHP, Union County (TN) 2026
Uncommitted. This was a very impressive showing this weekend on the bump for Kolby Jones. Primary MIF but definitely can get it done just as well on the pitching side. He came out of the pen in the second inning and did not look back at all. He finished the rest of the game going 5 ⅔ innings on 4 hits with 9 strikeouts. His fastball had some good life to it at 82-84 T85, but his best pitch had to be his slider (74-76) which threw hitters off all day. Jones worked low all day, which allowed his slider to play very well off his fastball. This also led to the changeup usage going up and tunneling very nicely off of the fastball too. True athlete that not only gets it down on the diamond but also is his high school team’s quarterback.

Santiago Fuenmayor, C/1B, Duluth (GA), 2028
Uncommitted. He is not your average rising 9th grader, but that is why Fuenmayor is the way he is. At 5'10 160, he already has a great base to work with and continue to develop. He swung it well all weekend, smoking balls at ease, and had a piece at 94 EV. He has a nice wide base with a small leg kick, allowing him to react to any pitch. Fuenmayor also showed how well he recognizes pitches, which is one of the many reasons he was on base a ton this weekend. On the catching side is where Fuenmayor really separates himself. At just 14 and ½ he is blocking pitches with ease, which is so impressive especially for someone so young. Fuenmayor takes pride in his receiving and it shows because he is a natural at it. The arm is his best tool, leading to runners being thrown out a lot and most of the time it is not even close. Fuenmayor is going to be a fun one to watch in Georgia in the years to come.

Taylor Fuller, MIF, Holy Innocents’ (GA), 2026
Uncommitted. Fuller had a strong start to his summer tallying multiple hits at the State Games of Georgia. Fuller flashed power to the pullside, while showing the ability to work the opposite field. Fuller has explosiveness in his lower half, and stays in the legs in his swing. He showed a consistent barrel through the zone showing strong bat to ball skills and getting to tough pitches. Fuller is a name to look out for this summer in the 2026 class.

Tyler VanSumeren, OF/1B, Tift County (GA), 2026
Kennesaw State Commit. VanSumeran had a solid weekend at the plate showing patience at the plate and working well with 2 strikes. Tyler stays short/compact through contact and adding a quick barrel. With 2 strikes Tyler simplifies his mechanics and widens the base. The Kennesaw State commit adds a strong hit tool hitting to all parts of the field. Tyler shows versatility while being able to play both the OF and 1B at a high level.

Brenner VanDeWynchel, LHP/OF, Sparkman (AL), 2026
Uncommitted. VanDewynchel had a very impressive weekend. Fastball has good asr and is able to consistently attack the zone with it, topping out at 84. Changeup also pairs really well with the fastball as it consistently sits around 75 and is thrown with the same intensity and tunnels extremely well with his fastball. He throws an effective breaking ball and is able to live down in the zone. With a 6’2 171 frame there is a lot of room for growth and potential to be great at the next level.

Ivan Hand, RHP/3B, Briarwood Christian (AL), 2028
Uncommitted. Hand had a solid weekend with a lot of high exit velocity. Very patient at the plate, reads breaking balls well. Able to make quick adjustments on fastballs. Very strong lower half with great barrel control through the zone. Quick hands allow him to spray the ball over the yard. Could potentially be a great follow and name to look out for in the class of 2028.

Colt Clark, SS/3B, Barrow Arts and Science Academy (GA), 2028
Uncommitted. At 5’11 177 Clark has a solid build and there is definitely room for him to add size as he continues to develop. Clark was consistent all weekend, scorching balls to the outfield and tearing it up on the base paths. Lots of power from the right side, able to attack early and recognize breaking balls out of the hand consistently. Tends to push the ball rather than pull, very strong lower half with quick hands that allow him to wait on breaking balls and take them the other way.

Kwade Carver, RHP/3B, Powell (TN), 2025
Uncommitted. Tall powerful frame at 6’3 207 that displays a strong lower-half and does well to get the barrel up through the zone. Tends to get good separation and has fast hands that can get to the FB. Projectable frame that should continue to get better as he matures. Also very disciplined in his approach, can hit the ball well to all parts of the field.

Reece Brazeal, RHP/OF, Bob Jones (AL), 2026
Uncommitted. Large frame at 6’4 175 with room to fill out. Brazeal had a good weekend as he was hitting the ball hard consistently. Great barrel control through the zone and has a motor around the bases. Could be a great name to follow in the class of 2026.

Lane Seaton, RHP/3B, Newcastle (OK), 2026
Uncommitted. Sturdy durable frame at 5’11 165. One of the smoothest lefty bats in the class of 26. High powerful leg kick, with strong quick hands that allows him to go after pitches that are elevated and able to drive them to the outfield. Very consistent on his approach at the plate, hits the ball where it’s pitched and does not try to do too much.

Grant Hill, RHP/SS, Chelsea (AL), 2026
Uncommitted. Hill had an impressive weekend on the mound with having a complete game. Very confident with his pitches, topping out at a 87 FB. Very good control on the mound with having double digit strikeouts.CH was nasty topping out at 83 as well as BB topping out at 76. Hill is very consistent with his pitches and continues to throw hard later in the games.

Gavin Lang, SS/RHP, Collinsvillel (AL), 2027
Uncommitted. Had a very good weekend at the plate and also on the mound. Had some great hits off the barrel with driving one at 94 EV. Lang battled very well at the plate this weekend. Has a very strong lower half with pretty good hand speed. Had a pretty good outing this weekend. On the mound he topped at 87 FB.

Alex Espinoza, 3B/MIF/RHP/C, Grayson (GA), 2025
Uncommitted. Fresh off a state title appearance. Espinoza was a key producer on both sides for a scrappy Grayson squad that made a hard-fought run at the 7A state title. Espinoza stayed hot on the first weekend of the summer. Collecting 3 knocks on Tuesday of the State Games. Espinoza shows an advanced approach at the plate with a keen eye. In sync and rhythm describe the swing as he is on time with everything. Espinoza matches plane at an exemplary rate and works up the middle of the field. An athletic defender that can play anywhere on the diamond at an elevated level, also had a web gem on Tuesday. The uncommitted junior looks to continue his torrid pace from the spring and the first weekend of the summer.

Joshua Henson, SS/RHP, Buckhorn (AL), 2025
Southeastern Louisiana commit. Batting in the 4 hole of a potent Excel 17U lineup, filled with commits top to bottom. Henson showed out, as did the rest of the lineup. Not your prototypical clean-up hitter, but Henson thrives in this role as the SS displays power coupled with the ability to reach base at tremendous rate. Swing and miss is not an issue, due to an impressive approach with 2-strikes. Not afraid to go down 0-2, the slugger simplifies the approach, widens the stance, and stays compact, having the ability to fight balls off until the right pitch. The former future gamer also showed an advanced understanding of the strike-zone. Henson found himself in multiple two strike counts and because of this advanced two strike approach, was able to reach both times. Working a walk and producing a backside double for an RBI.

Ty Marsh, 3B/SS, James Clemens (AL), 2025
Western Kentucky commit. Hitting just comes naturally for Marsh. Flashing the hit-tool over the weekend. With a smooth lefty swing and a simple approach, Marsh can obliterate balls at ease. The lefty has an easy rhythm to the swing, with excellent weight transfer allowing for great leverage through the zone. Shows an advanced feel for the barrel, by getting on time and matching plane well. Another former future gamer in a loaded Excel 17U lineup that had a big weekend. Smacking powerful pull-side barrels with multiple hits one being an XBH in the third game of pool play. Batting in 7 spot for the Excel team, Marsh was a key RBI producer in the run to win the State Games 17U bracket.

Anderson Morgan, SS/2B, Hokes Bluff (AL), 2025
Uncommitted. Batting atop the order for Dinger Nation. Morgan was a table-setter for the squad over the weekend. Displays a smooth short to the ball swing with a good path allowing Morgan the ability to work up the middle. Morgan was vital on both sides of the ball. Producing a big bases-loaded knock that split a gap bringing home two runs on the second day of State Games. On the defensive side Morgan showed athleticism at short. Making countless plays that showed off the range and the arm. Morgan is the definition of a gamer.

Maddox Litt, 3B/OF, Buford (GA), 2028
Uncommitted. What a first day of State Games for Litt. Collecting 3 knocks including an XBH with a loud 6 RBI’s. Litt put the team on his back and carried them to a victory on the first day of the State Games. Everything Litt put into play seemed to be barreled and found a hole. An excellent swing was on display from the class of 2028, staying balanced and matching plane well. Litt took what the pitcher gave him and used an all-fields approach en route to his big day at the plate. A mature approach from the rising freshman.
