2024 GHSA Preview: Shiloh Generals

The 2024 Georgia high school baseball season is quickly approaching and, as usual, excitement is abound throughout the state. Players and coaches have been working in preparation for the upcoming season and, as is the case each year, there are some very talented players and teams across Georgia.

Teams across the state have goals and aspirations to finish their seasons in mid-May inside one of Coolray Field, AdventHealth Stadium, or JI Clements Stadium at Georgia Southern University. We hope to familiarize our readers with many of the teams across the state as we preview individual teams across Georgia. We will take you right up to first pitch this season with these team previews, eventually releasing our Preseason Power 25 rankings that’ll carry us into the opening week of action.

TEAM OUTLOOK

Coach McCorkle and the Generals look to get back to their winning ways in class 6A after a tough 2023 campaign. The Generals will look at Upper Class leadership in hopes of making a run at the playoffs in 2024. Seniors, Caleel Ware, Traden Davis, Anthony Vu, Alexis Leal-Contreras, and Juniors Nicholas Johnson, Gavin Anderson, Justin Huston will lead the team and look to have big years. Freshman, Jaylen Seabrooks will be a key contributor for Shiloh as he looks to be a big bat in the lineup. Other Freshmen Bronson Andrews, and Brayden Brown will look to play strong roles for the Generals. Shiloh will open up the 2024 regular season on 2/12 against South Gwinnett.
