The 2024 Georgia high school baseball season is quickly approaching and, as usual, excitement is abound throughout the state. Players and coaches have been working in preparation for the upcoming season and, as is the case each year, there are some very talented players and teams across Georgia.

Teams across the state have goals and aspirations to finish their seasons in mid-May inside one of Coolray Field, AdventHealth Stadium, or JI Clements Stadium at Georgia Southern University. We hope to familiarize our readers with many of the teams across the state as we preview individual teams across Georgia. We will take you right up to first pitch this season with these team previews, eventually releasing our Preseason Power 25 rankings that’ll carry us into the opening week of action.

TEAM OUTLOOK

• The 2023 Wolfpack had a solid 23-12 record and finished the year strong making it to the class 7A Final Four. Coach Richardson will lean on a large Senior Class in 2024. This Senior Class will have two front line Starters in Deshawn Morgan (Memphis Commit) and Caden Hewitt (Georgia State Commit). Senior Landon Estes (Reinhardt Commit) Will hold down the final spot in the starting rotation. Senior Catcher Cayden Sheffield (Georgia Tech Commit) will work closely with the pitching staff and will be a big bat in the lineup. Two Columbus State Commits Victor Junco and Jonathan Croxton will be utility guys looking to produce in any fashion for the Wolfpack. Senior Sean O'Brien (Auburn Montgomery Commit) will play the hot corner and be a consistent bat in the lineup. The bullpen will be led by Senior Colin Loeffler (Albany State Commit) and Juniors Yenli Nolasco, Lucas Vargo, Parker Fennelly. Junior Standout at the Georgia Preseason All-State event, Nathan Rowland will be a powerful bat in the lineup. Sophomore Cade Cox will look to contribute in this deep lineup for the Wolfpack.
