Florida 2024 Rankings: Spring Update

High school season is underway. The 2024 class is looking to have a big spring as we inch closer to the 2024 MLB Draft. With today's rankings update, the 2024 class heads into their final stretch. Check out how this class shapes up halfway through the spring.

A new #1 in the FL 2024 Class as LHP Johnny King (Naples) takes over the top spot. The left-hander has been a big riser up Draft boards this spring with a fastball up to 94 and a wipeout slider. He has an ease to miss barrels and create in-zone-misses with both fastball and slider.
OF Ty Head (Windermere) takes over the second spot in the state. Physical left-handed hitting outfielder is off to a scorching start to the spring offensively. Lots of projection for scouts to dream on with Head.
SS Manny Marin (Westminster Christian) has been a riser this spring and jumps to #4. Stronger at 6-foot-1, 174 pounds. Compact stroke from the right side. Bat-to-ball skills are present. Elite defender at short with some of the best hands in the country.
RHP Joshua Whritenour (A3 Academy) has shown a premier fastball this spring touching 97 mph. Quick arm with a heavy fastball that explodes out of the hand. Ability to spin the slider above 2700 rpm.
