Dr. Phillips High School

Plays three games last week and were led at the plate by Yasin Chentouf and Nick Conti.

Chentouf- 4-8, 2 HRs, 4 RBIs, 3 SBs
Conti- 6-8, HR, 2 2Bs, 5 RBIs

Plant High School

Plant beat Jefferson last week 13-2 behind a big day from Kyle Tucker going 4-4 with 2 HRs and 3 RBIs. Connor Scott also went 2-3 with a 2B and 2 RBIs in the victory.

Olympia High School

Had a high interest draft matchup with Olympia’s Juan Hillman squaring off against Brendan Rodgers and Lake Mary. Hillman worked 4 innings striking out 8 while allowing 2 hits. Cameron Montgomery and Kirk Sidwell added homers for Olympia.

Venice High School

Defeated Island Coast last night 3-1. Cole Kragel got the win on the mound striking out 9.

Alonso High School

Took down Newsome 10-2 in district play the other night. Jordan Butler went 3-4 at the plate with 4 RBis, Jared DeSantelo went 2-3 with a 2B and 3 RBis.

Gulf Coast High School

Took down Charlotte 3-1 last night in district play. Michael Zimmerman threw a complete game striking out 12 in the victory.
