Unsigned Senior Spotlight: SS/RHP Bronson Farah
April 6, 2020
Our goal at Prep Baseball Report is to promote high school players, and give them the exposure they need to be able to play at the next level. With the 2020 high school season in limbo, we want to continue to be able to promote players, even when baseball is not being played. This spring, we will be spotlighting several uncommitted seniors to help them get the exposure they need to play at the next level in 2021.
Next up is uncommitted 2020 SS/RHP Bronson Farah (Sandalwood). Farah was a standout at multiple PBR events last summer including the South Summer Championships and the Florida Senior Games.

Scouting Report
A lean 6-foot-1, 175 pounds. Defensively, he has some initial stiffness, but shows a good first step and the hands work well. Throws had plenty of carry and topped at 85 mph. Offensively, he has a toe-tap trigger with no load. The hands are quick and level through the zone with some present bat speed. Also, showed a feel for the game and athleticism with a stolen base. Was very interesting on the mound, where the arm strength plays. Has a quick arm at 83-85 mph with minimal effort. Showed a feel to spin a slider at 78-80 mph and a fading changeup at 78-79 mph while striking out three in his inning of work
Uncommitted 2020, tall, athletic middle infielder. 6-foot-2, 185 pound frame. Soft hands at shortstop with a smooth glove transition. Above average arm. Line drive swing and moves athletically around the basepaths.
Athletic and strong frame at 6 foot-2-185 pounds will room for growth. Loose arm action in the ¾ arm slot with a lot of moving parts, but stays in line with delivery to home. Sitting 85-87 with fastball and 77-78 with slider, commands both for strikes. Good balance point and throws with easy effort and stays in line with delivery.
