Unsigned Senior Spotlight: Alex Reynolds-Land O' Lakes HS

This week’s Unsigned Senior Spotlight is on Land O’ Lakes OF Alex Reynolds.  Alex Reynolds is a 6-foot-2, 180 pound OF/LHP for Land O’ Lakes HS. Reynolds has an athletic frame with good and accurate arm strength. At the plate, Reynolds hit .368 with 23 RBI along with 8 doubles and 1 HR. Reynolds hits in the middle of the lineup for the Gators and has done so as a varsity starter his entire high school career.

When asked about Reynolds, long time Land O’ Lakes HS head coach Calvin Baisley said, “Alex is a quality kid, and an excellent student. He’s a baseball player. He’s someone who has hit 3-4 in our lineup and someone I trust will do all the right things who we rely on to drive in runs”. Reynolds also serves as the Gator’s closer posting a 1.19 ERA with a 2-0 record, 3 saves, and 14 strikeouts in 17.2 IP. As a sophomore, Reynolds earned All Pasco County Honorable Mention and in his junior year campaign, Reynolds earned 2nd team Sunshine Athletic Conference honors.
