Uncommitted Spotlight: 2023 Tad Brooks
May 19, 2022
This spring we will be highlighting players throughout the state with Uncommitted Spotlights. We will highlight one 2022, 2023, and 2024 player each week looking for a school to call home. The state of Florida is full of uncommitted players who have the talent to play at the next level. These players deserve as much exposure as they can get in order to help them find the right home.
Today, we will highlight 2023 Tad Brooks. Tad is a 5-foot-11, 205 pound third baseman from Calvary Christian High School in Clearwater, FL. Outside of high school, Tad plays travel ball with the Florida Burn. Tad came to our Summer Kickoff last summer at IMG and showed immediate power off the bat. Has quick, loose hands with the ability to lift on contact. Tad has a strong frame with power potential and the ability to drive the ball with intent touching 100 mph in exit velocity multiple times.
