Uncommitted Spotlight: 2022 Edian Espinal
March 8, 2022
This spring we will be highlighting players throughout the state with Uncommitted Spotlights. We will highlight one 2022, 2023, and 2024 player each week looking for a school to call home. The state of Florida is full of uncommitted players who have the talent to play at the next level. These players deserve as much exposure as they can get in order to help them find the right home.
Today, we will highlight 2022 Edian Espinal. Edian is a 5-foot-9, 195 pound switch hitting middle infielder from Viera High School. Outside of high school, Edian plays travel ball with Eagles Baseball. Edian has been a constant standout at PBR tournaments since the fall of 2020. Consistently driving the baseball to both gaps and making an impact on the field. He represented the East region at the 2021 Senior State Games and stood out with a 6.85 60 and above average arm from short. Espinal can play both middle infield spots at a high level and should be an uncommitted name to watch this spring.
