Uncommitted Spotlight: 2022 Chris Romano
April 26, 2022
This spring we will be highlighting players throughout the state with Uncommitted Spotlights. We will highlight one 2022, 2023, and 2024 player each week looking for a school to call home. The state of Florida is full of uncommitted players who have the talent to play at the next level. These players deserve as much exposure as they can get in order to help them find the right home.
Today, we will highlight 2022 SS/2B Chris Romano. Chris is 5-foot-10, 180 pound middle infielder from Creekside High School in St. Johns, FL. Outside of high school, Chris plays travel ball for the Florida Prime Dodgers Scout Team. Chris stood out this past summer at the 2021 Sunshine State Classic. He also represented the North Region at the 2021 Senior State Games. Chris is an athletic middle infielder. Moves well up the middle and has a loose line drive swing at the plate.
