Mitchell LeRoy RHP / 1B / Freedom, FL / 2019Rankings State Rank:54 POS:16
The 6-foot-3, 180-pound right-handed pitcher has a high waist, long arms and big hands. The frame really projects to continue to fill out. He has a half circle arm swing and works from a high 3/4 slot. It is a clean, repeatable arm action that is quick. He lands consistently in line and overall shows a repeatable delivery. He fastball worked 86-89 mph with tilt and late life with occasional arm side run. The curveball has tight spin and depth from 73-76 mph and projects to be a swing and miss pitch. Also showed a straight changeup at 80 mph. Leroy struck out one in two innings and everything works clean and easy. He has a repeatable motion with a high upside and should remain durable.
