Scouting notes from the Top Prospect Games

Altamonte Springs, Fl --- After a great day of workouts and games at the beautiful Lake Brantley High School facility, we take a look at the top outfield performances from the Top Prospect Games last Tuesday.
OF/SS Cameron Meehan 2017 Timber Creek HS – Uncommitted rising junior. 5-foot-10, 158 pound outfielder with a loose lean athletic projectable body with good outfield actions, hands and plenty of arm. Fields through the ball with a loose easy working arm. Erect stance at the plate with good rhythm in approach. Has a high back elbow with a loose quick bat and a good bat path. Stays inside ball and uses whole field. Has strength and quickness in the bat with some future power. Good young athlete with a lot of upside. Ran a 6.9 60. Outfield velocity was 85 mph. Exit bat speed velocity was 85 mph.
OF/LHP Jordan Murray 2016 Crawford Moseley HS – Loose lean athletic body with strong lower half. Short compact swing with quickness in the bat and average raw power. Good balanced swing with aggressive approach. Good outfield actions with aggressive routes to ball. Ball lacks carry with tailing action. Also has good actions around the bag at first base. Ran a 7.1 60. Outfield velocity of 81 mph. Infield velocity of 79 mph. Exit bat speed velocity of 85 mph.
OF/1B Vinnie Costello 2016 Pompano Beach HS – Uncommitted rising senior. 6-foot-5, 180 pound outfielder/first baseman with a tall loose lean projectable body. Athletic outfield actions with a loose easy arm with carry. Fields through the ball. Long loose swing with lift. Good load that doesn’t always get to front side. Has average ML raw power. Can really drive the ball when he gets extended. Ran a 6.9 60. 88 mph exit bat speed velocity. 83 mph outfield velocity.
OF/C Sean Dieppa 2017 West Broward HS - Uncommitted rising junior. 5-foot-10, 150 pound outfielder with a loose athletic projectable body on a meduim sized frame. Good actions with sound mechanics. Fields through ball. Charges ball. Loose live average ML arm with carry. Short quick line drive stroke with a good bat path. Aggressive approach. Ran a 7.21 60. Exit bat speed velocity of 81 mph. Outfield velocity of 88 mph.
