The 2021 Overall Rankings were updated this week. The Hotlist looks at some juniors who are trending upward.

Bryan Arendt, C, Holly Springs HS, NC
A UNC-Wilmington recruit, Arendt jumped onto the national scene with his defensive workout at the Future Games in August. Since then, he has added strength to his frame and now stands at 6-foot-2, 205 pounds. The arm is big and plays with ease. He has bend and looseness in his hips and the hands are soft, working to an exchange. His pop times range from 1.81-2.07 with feel for the bag. Offensively, the bat lagged behind his defense at the Future Games, but the added strength has played immediately, shortening the swing and adding pop off the barrel. He is quiet through his load, creating barrel whip through contact and an exit velocity of 95 mph off the tee.
