Rawlings Stealth Scout Day: Standouts

The Rawlings Stealth Scout Day was held Tuesday, December 29th at East Boynton Beach Little League in Boynton Beach, FL. The event featured players from the 2022-2024 classes from the Rawlings Stealth travel organization participating in a pro-style workout and bullpens in front of the PBR Florida Scouting Staff.

Standouts
Louis Federico SS / RHP / The King's Academy, FL / 2023Uncommitted 2023 showed his athleticism throughout the day. Showed a level line drive swing with a gap to gap approach at the plate. Swings with intent and had exit velos up to 92 mph. Moves well on his feet defensively and has soft hands. Showed two-way potential up to 83 mph on the mound.

Marlon Huff 1B / 3B / Spanish River, FL / 2024Strong XL frame at 6-foot-3, 235 pounds. Physically advanced for his class. Showcased power potential to the pull side. Some steepness in the swing but the potential is there. Has a chance to tune into that power as he continues to mature. Huff is uncommitted.

Jerome Mitchell Jr SS / OF / Santaluces, FL / 2023Lean athletic frame. Showcased loose, quick hands during bp. Showed the ability to turn the barrel with an up the middle approach. The athleticism plays. Like the upside offensively. Mitchell is uncommitted.

Aidan Nelson LHP / OF / Park Vista, FL / 2024Has really matured since this event last year. Moves well in the outfield and showcased an above average arm. Offensively, has loose hands from the left side. Has a simple level swing, and attacks the pull side gap. Up to 77 on the mound with a loose arm from the left side. Nelson is uncommitted.

Aaron Vetter SS / 3B / Calvary Christian Academy, FL / 2024Vetter has a lean athletic frame. Hands work loose at the plate with a low effort swing. Has a compact, level line drive swing. Attacks the middle of the field. Hands are soft in the infield and is quick with his transfers. Vetter is uncommitted.

James White Jr RHP / OF / Lake Worth, FL / 2023Tall projectable frame at 6-foot-3, 165 pounds. Fastball up to 82 mph but should see that increase as he starts to fill out his frame. Comes from a high ¾ arm slot with long to short arm action. White is uncommitted.
