OUTLOOK
Miami Christian is coming off a season in which they won the 2A State Championship. Several key seniors have graduated including Allan Hernandez, who was selected in the 12th Round of the 2019 MLB Draft by the Cleveland Indians. The Victors also lose Jason Garcia and Jason Marona in their rotation. Taking over as their ace is Alejandro Rosario (Miami), who reclassified to 2020 this summer and is one of the best pitchers in the country. Complementing Rosario is another hard throwing righty in Carlos Rodriguez, who comes over from Ferguson. He and Rosario make up one of the top pitching tandems in the country. Offensively, Jose Izarra returns for his senior year and will be a big part of this team’s success. Miami Christian added three transfers who will make a big impact in their lineup in 2020. Robert Moya (Nova), Alex Ulloa (Oklahoma St.), and Rene Lastres (Florida) make up a dynamic lineup in their first year at Miami Christian. Miami Christian has one of the most talented rosters in the state going into the 2020 season. Make sure to follow @pbrflorida on Twitter for the most up-to-date coverage throughout the season.
