Dover, FL - Tuesday night at Strawberry Crest High School featured a matchup between two neighboring schools in Strawberry Crest and Armwood. The game was dominated by pitching as both teams combined for only four hits. Getting the start for Armwood was 2020 FSW Cameron Oliu. Oliu came out pounding the strike zone sitting 85-88 mph with a quick arm. He added a slider at 78-81. Oliu would go the whole game for the Hawks finishing with two runs given up (one earned) and two strikeouts.

On the other side for Strawberry Crest was 2021 FAU commit Bryan Boully. He went the first four innings without giving up a hit, and would finish with five shutout innings and seven strikeouts. Boully pitched to contact with his fastball working 81-85 mph. He added a 66-71 mph curveball and an above average 77-78 mph changeup that was getting many swings and misses.

Uncommitted 2021 Colby Fanning came in to finish the last two innings for Strawberry Crest and complete the shutout. He worked 81-84 mph with his fastball and contributed on offense as well by scoring one of their two runs.

Offensively for Strawberry Crest, sophomore Anthony Grasso reached base twice and scored the team’s first run on a wild pitch. Colby Fanning would reach base later on and score their second run on a wild pitch as well. In a low-scoring affair, Strawberry Crest would go on to win this one 2-0.
