The Prep Baseball Report MN Top Prospect Games event took place on Monday and Tuesday, June 18 & 19, 2018. The event was held at Veteran's Field at Minnetonka High School in Minnetonka, MN. The event featured prospects from the 2019 grad class; and included many breakout performances from this year's participants. Players showcased their talents in front of our scouting staff and 68 college coaches in attendance.

Thank you to the players, parents, my staff; along with the staff of Minnetonka High School for such a great event. A special thank you to CJ Woodrow and Matt Mossey with Pitch2Pitch for allowing us to use their Burnsville facility because of the inclement weather.

There were a number of great individual performances this year at the MN Top Prospect Games.

As we drill down into the statistics:

+ 65 players ran sub-7.2 60's.
+ 58 players recorded 85+ mph exit velocities
+ 22 players recorded 80+ mph infield throws
+ 9 players recorded 80+ mph outfield throws
+ 20 catchers recorded 70+ mph throws to second base
+ 14 catchers recorded sub-2.1 pop times
+ 48 pitchers were 80+ mph on the mound
