North Florida Prospect ID Rundown




Jarred Mason
– 2015 Wolfson

Hit .293 with a .400 On Base Percentage this past season. Ran a 7.03 60 at the North Florida Prospect ID. Lanky frame with room for growth. Was able to barrel up some baseballs during his BP session.        

Zack Brockman - 2017 Savannah Christian

Athletic build. Can play multiple positions on the infield. Has good arm strength which will improve every year. Very good first step quickness. Simple approach at the plate. Squared up a good number of balls at the NF Prospect ID. On the mound Brockman shows a clean delivery with the ability to locate his fastball and curveball. Fastball reached 82 with a tight curveball. Showed some feel for change up but leaves room for improvement.

Hunter Brown – 2015 University Christian

Brown hit .467 with a .500 OBP. Ran a 7.18 60 at the North Florida Prospect ID with a 80 mph exit velo. Has a 6-foot-3 athletic frame with a balanced approach at the plate.

Joshua Ray – 2017 Eagle's View Academy

Ran a 7.47 60 at the North Florida Prospect ID. Ray is a scrappy contact hitter who barrels it up when he syncs it up.

Wyatt Ronek – 2018 Sandalwood

The Left Hander had a good showing at the North Florida Prospect ID.  Had a max FB of 68. Throws his curveball for a strike and has a feel for the change up.

Kit Connelly – 2018 Ponte Vedra

The 6-foot-2 catcher had a pop time of 2.3 at the North Florida Prospect ID.  Connelly has a wide shouldered frame with good balance at the plate. Displayed some power during his BP session but has more power left.

Ethan Heck – 2018 Sandalwood

The outfielder and catcher ran a 7.62 60 at the North Florida Prospect ID. Heck has a short stride and is short to the baseball. Receives it well and will improve his pop time as arm strength increases.

JT Schellenberg – 2015 Wolfson

The 6-fot-1 RHP and 3B ran a 7.17 60 at the North Florida Prospect ID. Had a max FB of 78 with a tight curveball.  A long and loose ¾ arm slot, Schellenberg has room to grow physically.

Keefer Beaty – 2015 Wakulla

The athletic frame Beaty ran a 7.04 60 at the North Florida Prospect ID. Beaty showed good arm strength from the outfield. At the plate, Beaty showed excellent balance with an explosive lower half. With fluid rhythm, Beaty hit plenty of line drives during his BP session.

Max Holmes – 2017 Providence

The 6-foot-3 180 lb. Holmes had a great showing at the North Florida Prospect ID.  On the mound, Holmes’ max FB was at 84 with a 71 mph curveball. Holmes effectively throws down plane with a loose, high ¾ arm slot. At the plate, Holmes showed power and pulled a lot of baseballs during his BP session. With a short stride and fluid rhythm, Holmes’ swing plane stayed in the zone.

Ben Jackson – 2017 Savannah Christian

The 5-foot-6 155 lb. had a standout performance at the North Florida Prospect ID.  Jackson ran a 7.50 60 and displayed good arm strength from multiple positions. Behind the plate, Jackson received the baseball well and had a 2.00 pop time to second base.  The strong and athletic frame Jackson had a short load with excellent balance and explosive bat speed and lower half. Showing gap-to-gap power, Jackson’s swing plane stayed in the zone.

Jordan Detwilder – 2015 First Coast

The 5-foot-9 220 lb. Detwilder ran a 8.53 60 with a 81 mph exit velo at the North Florida Prospect ID. Behind the plate, Detwilder had a 2.15 pop time to second base.

Ricky Boyett – 2015 University Christian

The 6-foot-2 180 lb. catcher ran a 7.56 60 and had a 2.14 pop time to second base at the North Florida Prospect ID. With a 73 mph exit velo, Boyett has a tall set up with a short load with an explosive lower half.

Travis Ray – 2016 North Florida Christian

The 6-foot-1 213 lb. first baseman had a 85 mph exit velo at the North Florida Prospect ID. With a strong frame, Ray shows good balance with power.

Todd Lott – 2016 First Coast

The 6-foot-4 200 lb. first baseman ran a 7.4 60 with an 80 mph exit velo at the North Florida Prospect ID. At the plate, Lott showed impressive power hitting a few balls out during his BP session.

Dylan Pate – 2015 University Christian

The 5-foot-10 180 lb. Pate had a max FB of 80 mph with a 68 mph curveball he threw for strikes at the North Florida Prospect ID. Pate also displayed a 66 mph knuckleball that he was able to throw with confidence to compliment his other pitches and keep hitters off balance.
