Mid-Florida/Panhandle Conference Scout Day: Player Analysis

6-foot-2, 170-pound athletic frame; RHP/SS. During batting practice, the right-handed hitter had an exit velocity of 77 mph. Set up in wide stance with a small load. Uses a level swing plane. In the infield, his best throw was registered at 83 mph; had sure hands and rhythmic feet. Uses athletic movements laterally. He recorded a 60 time of 7.83 at the event. On the mound, he showed quick arm speed to the plate and a loose arm action. Showed easy effort in his delivery. His fastball came in at 83-84 mph with a max of 85 mph. He threw his curveball with consistency at 73-74 mph. His changeup was thrown at 75-76 mph.

5-foot-11, 165-pound athletic frame; SS/RHP. At the plate, the right-handed hitter's 92 mph exit velocity showed his ability to drive the ball with power. Uses a leg kick before his swing. Exhibits a level swing plane, and his bat speed is quick. Path exhibited a line drive approach. In the infield, showed his ability to throw 84 mph across the diamond; showed quick feet and a quick exchange. Laterally, his movements were athletic. He recorded a 60 time of 7.16 at the event. On the mound, he is a feel type pitcher who showed quick arm speed. His fastball was 84-85 mph; with a max of 85 mph; shows a cutting movement with plus action. He threw his curveball with consistency at 68-70 mph. He threw his changeup (76-78 mph) for a strike when he stayed on top. He showed consistency with his off-speed slider at 73 mph.

6-foot, 170-pound lean frame; OF/LHP. At the plate, the left-handed hitter had a max exit velocity of 82 mph. Uses a leg kick to start his swing. In the outfield, his throws to the bases were maxed out at 85 mph;showed twitchy hands. In the infield, displayed a velocity of 83 mph across the field.  In the 60-yard dash, he clocked a time of 7.48. On the mound, his fastball came in at 80-81 mph with a max of 81 mph. His curveball (64-66 mph) worked best when he spotted up low in the zone. He successfully located his changeup for a strike at 68-69 mph. 

6-foot, 185-pound; C/3B. At the plate, the right-handed hitter showed his power in the box with a strong exit velocity of 97 mph. Had a smooth load and a leg kick  Path creates a drive the ball approach. He made strong throws to second and produced an efficient position velocity of 84 mph; had a twitchy exchange, quick footwork and firm hands. Behind the plate, he showed his ability to throw runners out with an efficient pop time of 1.80-1.91; Showed a stiff arm action and accuracy to the bag. He clocked a time of 7.64 in the 60-yard dash. 

5-foot-10, 174-pound; 3B/RHP. At the plate, the right-handed hitter showed his power ability with an exit velocity of 89 mph. Begins in balanced stance, has a small load and uses a toe tap just before his swing. Showed a level swing plane. While in the infield, made throws at velocities up to 82 mph; displayed rhythmic feet. He recorded a time of 7.51 in the 60-yard dash. On the mound, his fastball came in at 81-82 mph; and topped out at 83 mph; shows heavy action on his fastball. His curveball was thrown at 65-67.

6-foot-1, 190-pound; LHP. On the mound, he used a long arm action. His fastball was 75-76 mph; and topped out at 76 mph; showed very consistent accuracy. His 60 mph curveball had depth when he located it low in the zone; has consistent accuracy as well. He can keep hitters off balance when he located his changeup (64mph) low in the zone; showed very consistent accuracy. 

6-foot-1, 200-pound physical frame; 1B/RHP. During batting practice, the right-handed hitter had a max exit velocity of 80 mph. Used a drive the ball  approach in his path. In the infield, his position velocity was registered at 76 mph. During the event, he ran the 60-yard dash in 8.56. On the mound, his fastball sat 74-75 mph. His curveball was typically thrown at 65-66 mph. He threw his changeup 64mph. 

6-foot-3, 190-pound projectable frame; RHP. On the mound, he is a feel type pitcher with upside who showcases a loose arm action. He was clocked sitting at 78-80 mph with a max of 81 mph. He threw his curveball with consistency at 68-70 mph. His changeup regularly came in at velocities of 70-71 mph. 

5-foot-10, 150-pound; SS/RHP. During batting practice, the right-handed hitter had an exit velocity of 79 mph. Sets up open tall  stance. In the infield, his position velocity was registered at 69 mph. He recorded a 60 time of 7.42 at the event. On the mound, his fastball sat 71-72 mph; and topped out at 72 mph; cutting fastball showed slight action. His curveball (63-64 mph)  and changeup (69-70 mph) were thrown at consistent velocities 

6-foot-2, 155-pound athletic frame; RHP. On the mound, he is up-tempo and attacks hitters. He threw his fastball 81-82 mph with a max of 83 mph. His 72-73 mph curveball was thrown with consistent velos. His off-speed slider was typically clocked at 76-77 mph. 

6-foot, 165-pound; OF/RHP. At the plate, the switch hitter had a max exit velocity of 78 mph. Setup included balanced wide  stance and a small load. Showed a level swing plane. Path displayed a line drive approach. In the infield, his best throw was registered at 79 mph; had a natural exchange and consistent hands. From the outfield, he showed the ability to throw at velocities up to 83 mph. Had a loose arm action on his throws. During the event, he ran the 60-yard dash in 7.48. On the mound, his fastball was clocked at 80-81 mph. He threw his curveball with consistency at 65-68 mph. His changeup was (64-65 mph).

In the infield, showed an ability to throw across the field at 78 mph; displayed a natural exchange and consistent hands. In the 60-yard dash, his time was 7.93.

6-foot-1, 180-pound lean frame; OF/RHP. During batting practice, the left-handed hitter had an exit velocity of 88 mph. Had a leg kick before his swing. Showed a drive the ball approach in his path. His best position velocity in the outfield was registered at 79 mph. Uses athletic movements laterally. During the event, he recorded a 60 time of 7.34. 

6-foot-2, 210-pound physical frame; C/1B. During batting practice, the right-handed hitter had a max exit velocity of 87 mph. Started in tall stance then used a leg kick  Bat speed was raw, and displayed an upward swing plane. In the infield, displayed a velocity of 76 mph across the field. His best throw downs of the day reached a max velocity of 73 mph. While catching, he had pop times of 2.00-2.06; In the 60-yard dash, he clocked a time of 7.74.  

5-foot-10, 198-pound; OF/1B. At the plate, the right-handed hitter had an exit velocity of 84 mph. Started in balanced stance then used a leg kick  Showed quick bat speed and had good extension on his finish. In the outfield, his best throw of the day was clocked at 78 mph. He clocked a time of 7.22 in the 60-yard dash.  

6-foot-1, 175-pound; 3B/C. At the plate, the right-handed hitter's 90 mph exit velocity showed his ability to drive the ball with power. Setup included balanced stance and a short stride  Exhibited an upward swing plane, and his bat speed was explosive. While in the infield, showed ability to throw up to 80 mph across the field. He displayed a plus arm with strong throw downs to second that hit 75 mph. With a pop time of 1.97-2.03, he showed off his feet and his ability to control the run game from behind the plate; He recorded a 60 time of 7.58 at the event.  

6-foot-5, 220-pound sturdy frame; RHP/1B. On the mound, he is a tall-and-fall type pitcher. He showed the most control on his curveball (69-71 mph) when he stayed on top; threw a sinking curveball that had some action. He threw his fastball 79-80 mph. 

5-foot-6, 143-pound athletic frame; SS/2B. At the plate, the left-handed hitter recorded an exit velocity of 76 mph. Starts open stance. Has a level swing plane. In the infield, showed his ability to throw 78 mph across the diamond.  Movements laterally were athletic. During the event, he recorded a 60 time of 7.58.  

5-foot-11, 165-pound; 2B/SS. At the plate, the right-handed hitter showed his power ability with an exit velocity of 91 mph. During setup, has a small load and a leg kick.  In the outfield, he showed the ability to make throws to the bases at 81 mph; displayed rhythmic feet and a natural exchange. In the infield, his position velocity was registered at 78 mph; showed twitchy hands and consistent accuracy. He showed off his speed at the event, running a swift 6.98 60-yard dash.  

5-foot-4, 145-pound; 2B/SS. During batting practice, the right-handed hitter clocked an exit velocity of 80 mph. Started in balanced stance, had a smooth load and used a leg kick just before his swing. Exhibited a level swing plane, and his bat speed was quick. While in the infield, registered his best throw across the diamond at 74 mph; displayed rhythmic footwork and twitchy hands. He recorded a time of 7.36 in the 60-yard dash. 

6-foot-1, 165-pound; LHP/1B. On the mound, he is a feel type pitcher who uses quality extension. his fastball came in at 72-73 mph and topped out at 73 mph. He consistenly threw his curveball 61-62 mph. He successfully located his changeup for a strike at 64-65 mph. 

5-foot-10, 190-pound; 1B/OF. At the plate, the left-handed hitter recorded an exit velocity of 83 mph. Set up in open stance then used a leg kick  Has raw bat speed. While in the infield, made throws at velocities up to 79 mph; showed consistent hands and a natural exchange. In the 60-yard dash, he clocked a time of 7.89.  

5-foot-11, 155-pound; LHP/OF. On the mound, his fastball was clocked at 68-69 mph and topped out at 70 mph. He consistenly threw his curveball 57-59 mph with movement. His changeup  was (58-59 mph). 

5-foot-8, 160-pound; RHP/SS. At the plate, the right-handed hitter had a max exit velocity of 81 mph. Starts in tall stance with a smooth load, then uses a leg kick right before his swing. While in the infield, recorded position velocities up to 79 mph.  During the event, he recorded a 60 time of 7.78. On the mound, he had a loose arm action with a ¾ arm angle. He is a drop-and-drive type pitcher. His fastball sat 78-79 mph. His changeup was thrown at 71-72 mph. His slider was 72-73 mph consistently.

Physical frame; . During batting practice, the  hitter recorded an exit velocity of 85 mph. Uses a toe tap to initiate his swing. Has an upward swing plane. Path exhibited a gap to gap approach. In the outfield, his throws to the bases were maxed out at 81 mph. Had a ¾ slot and very consistent accuracy to the bag. In the 60-yard dash, his time was 7.78. On the mound, he sat with his fastball at 80-81 mph. He showed the most control on his curveball (69 mph) when he stayed on top. He successfully located his changeup for a strike at 55-59 mph. 

6-foot-1, 215-pound; C/RHP. At the plate, the left-handed hitter showed his power ability with an exit velocity of 90 mph. Setup consisted of a wide stance and a small load. Showed a drive the ball approach in his path. He made strong, efficient throws to second at velocities up to 75 mph; had a clean exchange and quick footwork. He was quick and efficient behind the plate, producing pop times of 1.95-2.10; Showed consistent accuracy to the bases. In the 60-yard dash, he recorded a time of 7.53. On the mound, he sat with his fastball at 78-80 mph. He located his curveball for a strike at 65-66 mph.  His changeup was 72-74 mph.

6-foot-3, 206-pound; 1B/3B. At the plate, the left-handed hitter's best exit velocity was 80 mph. Starts in a tall stance and uses an ankle roll load. While in the infield, made throws at velocities up to 74 mph; showed quick footwork, consistent hands and a natural exchange. In the 60-yard dash, he recorded a time of 7.83.  

5-foot-11, 160-pound; OF. At the plate, the right-handed hitter recorded an exit velocity of 82 mph. Starts tall stance. Displays quick bat speed and an upward swing plane. From the outfield, he made throws to the infield at velocities up to 81 mph. Laterally, his movements were athletic. He established speed as one of his strengths with an efficient 60 time of 6.96.  

5-foot-8, 150-pound; SS. At the plate, the switch hitter had a max exit velocity of 83 mph. Setup was comprised of open stance and a short stride  Had a flat swing plane. From the outfield, his best throws to the bases were registered at 81 mph;showed a twitchy exchange. In the infield, his position velocity was registered at 76 mph; feet were rhythmic and his hands were consistent. He showed his athleticism during the event with a sub-seven 60 time of 6.82.
