Litsch's Lookback: Week 3
March 10, 2021
Litsch’s Lookback is a weekly segment that takes a look back at the standouts from that week around the state of Florida. The entire PBR Florida staff and myself will be out for coverage at High School, JUCO, and NCAA baseball games each week. We will highlight the biggest standouts from the games we saw that week.
This past week we had high school coverage around the state. From Jacksonville to Tampa to Melbourne to Miami, the PBR Florida staff had it covered. Take a look at the players who stood out to myself and the rest of our staff this past week.
Jesse Litsch
2023 Cooper Consiglio, LHP, Eastlake HS
Consiglio, the University of Hawaii commit continues to grow on the mound. He pounds the zone with a 4 pitch mix and has great mound presence. Pounds both sides of the plate with all pitches and keeps hitters off balance. Sat 83-85 with his fastball topping out at 87 and had a swing and miss curveball. Consiglio went 5 innings striking out 11 and allowing no runs.
2021 Dylan Broderick, RHP, Sunlake
Broderick, the Saint Leo University commit had an outstanding week. He went 10 â…“ innings with 12 strikeouts in 2 starts against both East Lake and Mitchell. Throws a very deceptive fastball from 2 different angles, over the top he sat 85 MPH topping out at 88, and from the side he sat 82-83 topping at 84 MPH with run on the fastball.
