The final Spring tournament of the 2021 Junior Future Series took place this past weekend with the Spring Classic in Winter Haven. The tournament featured teams from the 14u Division and the talent level was tremendous. Unfortunately, the tournament was cut short by the weather, but there were plenty of players who stood out. Check out the Junior Future Series Spring Classic Standouts.

2025 Luke Pappano, 5 Star National 14u 3RS

6-foot 165 pounds and up to 86 mph from the left side as an 8th grader. Pappano favored his curveball throughout his outing which had above average action that got a lot of swing and misses. Pappano will be a high follow arm in the 2025 class with his fastball sitting 84-84 combined with the advanced feel for a breaking ball.

2026 Randy Ruiz, 5 Star National 14u 3RS

Son of former big leaguer Randy Ruiz. The 2026 was all over the field this weekend with multiple extra base hits including an inside the park homer. Finished tied for second throughout the tournament with 6 hits.

2025 Malakhi Boone, Ballers Baseball

The XL frame and strong bodied Boone was all over the place this weekend. At the dish he showed tremendous strength and the ability to hit the ball hard to multiple parts of the field, he hit multiple triples and hit a long shot out of the park. When he gets moving he becomes a quick runner with good instincts. On the defensive side he showed above average tools that should play well moving on to the next level.

2025 Carter Smith, Ballers Baseball

Projection written all over Smith in his 6-foot-2 165 lb. frame at shortstop. On Day 1, Smith had a few extra base hits, Day 2 he registered a 1B/2B. Getting away from the box score, Smith runs the bases very well and showed above average plate discipline, on top of his ability to barrel up the baseball consistently. Keep an eye on the name Carter Smith in the 2025 class moving forward.
