Junior Championship Series-West Florida Standouts

The PBR/USSSA Junior Championship Series-West Florida took place Saturday, October 26th and Sunday, October 27th at Twin Lakes Park in Sarasota, FL. The tournament featured teams from all over the state from the 14u division. After an exciting weekend of baseball, Mustang Baseball Club came away as the tournament champion. Today, we take a look at some of the standouts from this past weekend, featuring stats, video, and more.

Suncoast Elite
Jake Levesque (C, Osceola Fundamental)
Uncommitted 2024. Stood out all weekend long behind the plate showing off advanced blocking skills for his age. He also displayed an above average arm throwing out five runners on the bases. Levesque also contributed offensively with four hits and four stolen bases.

Johnny Magruder (RHP, Osceola Fundamental)
Uncommitted 2024. Was dominant in two appearances on the mound. Led the tournament in strikeouts with ten, which included a complete game shutout in the quarterfinals.

Mike Marroquin (RHP, Tampa Prep)
Uncommitted 2024. Stood out on the mound in two appearances for Hit Factory. Two shutout innings on day one followed by a complete game effort on Sunday. Struck out five over eight innings of work.
