August 26, 2019
The 2019 PBR Future Games took place July 31-August 3 at LakePoint in Cartersville, GA. The event was filled with the top uncommitted 2021 and 2022 players in the country. The players participated in a pro-style workout and three games in front of all the PBR staff and over 300 college coaches. This week we continue spotlighting each of the 25 players from Team Florida at the Future Games. Next up is 2022 LHP/OF Bradley Hodges (St. John's Country Day).

Scouting Report
Committed to Virginia after the event. Two-way player with potential for that designation to stay with feel for an above average breaking ball on the mound and an advanced approach from the left side at the plate. 7.29 runner with high IQ on the basepaths. Medium build with broad shoulders. Contact-first approach with good plate discipline. Drew a couple of walks and had some long, hard-fought at bats. Short and compact to the ball with a level path. Uses short, toe-tap stride. Average defender with clean glove actions. On the mound, he sat 82-83 with feel for the 68-70 mph breaking ball with good depth. There’s room to add velo in the frame with some pitchability and above average secondary stuff. 75 arm velo from the OF, 84 mph exit velocity.
