Future Games Spotlight: LHP/OF Ashton Fedorek

The 2019 PBR Future Games took place July 31-August 3 at LakePoint in Cartersville, GA. The event was filled with the top uncommitted 2021 and 2022 players in the country. The players participated in a pro-style workout and three games in front of all the PBR staff and over 300 college coaches. This week we continue spotlighting each of the 25 players from Team Florida at the Future Games. Next up is 2021 LHP/OF Ashton Fedorek (Seminole).

Scouting Report
Two-way player that really impressed on the mound. Fastball sat 82-84 with some arm side run and sink, and a spin rate of 1945 rpm. Best pitch is his sweeping breaking ball at 70-72 that he has great feel for. Showed plus command with a repeatable, deliberate delivery. Quick, snappy arm. Offensively, there’s some rhythm and bat speed in the swing. Generates good torque and forward weight transfer with a direct path to the ball. Good understanding of the strike zone and some bat to ball skills are present. In the outfield, the arm is high effort and above average with some athleticism at 85 mph. 7.17 runner, 89 exit velocity.
