This week we will look back at our 2020 Future Games Team Florida roster. This group was full of talented 2022 and 2023 players. So far, we have already had 6 members of Team Florida commit to schools, with much more to come in the future.

Today we start our Player Analysis with the pitchers from Team Florida. We breakdown our five pitchers with complete scouting reports from the event. Take a look.

Pitcher Analysis

Samuel Cole RHP / Alonso, FL / 2022

Positional Profile: RHP - Strong frame with easy velocity. Could see making several big jumps in the near future.
Body: 6-foot-5, 220-pounds. XL frame with strength throughout.

Delivery: Smooth and in rhythm delivery, slow relaxed balance point. Mature mechanics, free and easy body control.
Arm Action: RH. High 3/4 arm slot, loose, short to long arm action.
FB: T88, 84-87 mph. Running action.
CB: 71-72 mph. 11/5 shape.

Nolan Juvers RHP / 1B / IMG Academy , FL / 2023

Positional Profile: RHP - A lot to like in the arm action and frame. Overall high ceiling.
Body: 6-foot-5, 210-pounds. Big, strong frame, long and lean.

Delivery: Tall and fall delivery, reaches athletic balance point, lands slightly open.
Arm Action: RH. High 3/4 arm slot, smooth/quick twitch, long to short arm action.
FB: T86, 82-85 mph. Arm side run, commands away.
SL: 71-73 mph. Left to right cutting action, bite.

Logan Plasencia RHP / Homeschool, FL / 2022

Positional Profile: RHP - Strength has really started to translate. Up to 92 and will have a chance to throw much harder. Command and feel have also significantly improved and trending upwards.
Body: 6-foot-4, 205-pounds. Athletic with projection

Delivery: Tall and drive, uptempo, high/quick balance point, inline finish towards target.
Arm Action: RH. High 3/4 arm slot, quick, long to short arm action.
FB: T92, 87-91 mph. Downhill, running action.
CB: 70-73 mph. 11/5 shape, sharp slider action. Maintains FB arm speed, commands down in zone.

Ryan Slattery RHP / RHP / TNXL Academy, FL / 2022

Positional Profile: RHP - Strong lower half he uses well. Throws a heavy ball that plays up through the zone. Has since committed to Pittsburgh
Body: 6-foot-2, 225-pounds. Big, stocky frame with strength especially in the lower half.

Delivery: Tall and drive delivery, uptempo, quick athletic balance point.
Arm Action: RH. High 3/4 arm action, quick, long to short arm action.
FB: T89, 83-88 mph. Heavy cutting action to glove side, slight running action to arm side.
CB: 70-72 mph. 11/5 shape.

Alex Walsh LHP / OF / Oxbridge Academy, FL / 2022

Positional Profile: LHP - Big projection and potential. Lanky left-hander with a clean arm and big upside to go with present ability. Has since committed to Texas Tech.
Body: 6-foot-3, 195-pounds. Long, lean and ultra projectable.

Arm Action: LH. 3/4 arm slot, long/quick arm action, cross body thrower, jerky deceptive actions.
