This week we will look back at our 2020 Future Games Team Florida roster. This group was full of talented 2022 and 2023 players. So far, we have already had 6 members of Team Florida commit to schools, with much more to come in the future.
Today we start our Player Analysis with the pitchers from Team Florida. We breakdown our five pitchers with complete scouting reports from the event. Take a look.
Pitcher Analysis
Samuel Cole RHP / Alonso, FL / 2022Positional Profile: RHP - Strong frame with easy velocity. Could see making several big jumps in the near future. Arm Action: RH. High 3/4 arm slot, loose, short to long arm action. FB: T88, 84-87 mph. Running action. CB: 71-72 mph. 11/5 shape. |
Nolan Juvers RHP / 1B / IMG Academy , FL / 2023Rankings StateRank: 41 / POS: 4
Positional Profile: RHP - A lot to like in the arm action and frame. Overall high ceiling. Arm Action: RH. High 3/4 arm slot, smooth/quick twitch, long to short arm action. FB: T86, 82-85 mph. Arm side run, commands away. SL: 71-73 mph. Left to right cutting action, bite. |
Logan Plasencia RHP / Homeschool, FL / 2022Rankings StateRank: 77 / POS: 13
Positional Profile: RHP - Strength has really started to translate. Up to 92 and will have a chance to throw much harder. Command and feel have also significantly improved and trending upwards. Arm Action: RH. High 3/4 arm slot, quick, long to short arm action. FB: T92, 87-91 mph. Downhill, running action. CB: 70-73 mph. 11/5 shape, sharp slider action. Ryan Slattery RHP / RHP / TNXL Academy, FL / 2022Positional Profile: RHP - Strong lower half he uses well. Throws a heavy ball that plays up through the zone.
