This week we will look back at our 2020 Future Games Team Florida roster. This group was full of talented 2022 and 2023 players. So far, we have already had 6 members of Team Florida commit to schools, with much more to come in the future.
Today we continue our Player Analysis with the Corner Infielders from Team Florida. We breakdown our three Corner Infielders with complete scouting reports from the event. Take a look.
Corner Infield Analysis

Jack Bello 1B / LHP / Cardinal Newman, FL / 2022
Positional Profile: 1B/LHP - Solid all around two-way player with potential for both at the next level. Body: 6-foot-2, 195-pounds. Stocky, strong frame. Defense: Controlled footwork with a wide base. Works through the baseball, fields ball centered and out front. Arm: LH. INF - 81 mph. Short, snappy arm action. Quick release with some tail. Low to normal 3/4 slot. Hit: RHH. Upright stance, hands high and back. Calm and quiet in the box. Takes the backside straight to the ball. Barrel is down to up through the zone. Long two-handed finish. Power: 96 mph exit velocity. Strong frame with barrel control. Power potential in the swing.
Delivery: Tall and drive delivery, uptempo balance point and rhythm. Arm Action: LH. Over the top arm slot, long to short arm action. FB: T83, 79-82 mph. Heavy, cutting action. CB: 66-70 mph. 1/7 shape. |

Positional Profile: 3B/C - Athletic with a natural feel for the game all around. Offensive profile is a solid combo of hit and power at the next level. Body: 6-foot-1, 190-pounds. Strength in lower half with lean frame. Defense: Soft hands, move smoothly with sure footwork. Attacks hops and plays fast with a quick transfer across the infield. Arm: RH. INF - 80 mph. Short behind and long out front. High 3/4 slot and stays on top with clean release. Hit: RHH. Tall stance, balanced, hands high with wiggle. Slight lift, strong, compact swing with fast hands and extension. Power: 98 mph exit velocity. Run: 7.67 runner in the 60.

James Hankerson 1B / OF / Berkeley Prep, FL / 2023
Positional Profile: 1B/OF - Potential for above average to plus power from both sides. Body: 6-foot-3, 240-pounds. Young face with a big frame. Big power/strength potential. Defense: Soft hands, picks well at first. Wide base, keeps the ball in front with solid footwork. Arm: LH. INF - 67 mph. Accurate arm. High 3/4 slot. Short to long action. Hit: Switch. Tall setup, loose hands, weight slightly back. Strong swing with a ton of torque in the barrel. Displays rhythm and balance in the load allowing him to get the barrel out front. Power: 95 mph exit velocity. Plus power potential with a big bat. Generates a ton of bat speed. Run: 7.98 runner in the 60.
