Gainesville, Fl. --- Yesterday we broke down the right handers from the Florida Underclass Games and today we take a look at the left handed pitchers. This a typical example of why left handed hitters and left handed pitchers are more highly touted than their equally talented counterparts. Because there are much less left handers to go around than right handers, as was the case at the Florida Underclass Games.

Left Handed Pitchers (Alphabetical Order)

Jud Fabian, LHP/OF, Trinity Catholic, 2019
5-foot-9, 145 pound lefty with a lean loose athletic projectable young body. Loose easy working arm with a ¾ to low ¾ arm slot. Takes ball out slightly past hip with a slight wrist wrap in back. Lands in line. Fast ball has run and sink at 74-77 mph. Curve ball is a big loopy ¾ breaker with good rotation. Good feel for the change up at 71-72 mph with the same fast ball action. A lot of upside for this young projectable lefty.

Dawson Fietsam, LHP/OF Trinity Christian Academy, 2019
5-foot-7, 145 pound lefty with a very young body on a medium frame. Lean, athletic, projectable. Long loose arm at a high ¾ arm slot. Good rhythm in delivery. Hides ball in back. Lands in line. Fast ball has arm side tail and glove side cut action at 68-70 mph. Curve ball is a big loopy downer at 72-64 mph. Change up is 63-64 mph but slows down a bit to throw it. Will improve with reps. Overall stuff will improve with physical maturity. Right now is a crafty lefty that throws his fast ball and curve for strikes.

David Gibas, LHP/OF, Trinity Catholic, 2019
5-foot-7, 145 pound left hander with a loose lean athletic immature projectable very young body. Loose easy working arm at a ¾ arm slot. Arm arc is a bit long in back. Consistent release out over front side. Lands in line. Fast ball has tail action at 70-72 mph. Curve ball has ¾ rotation at 56 57 mph. Throws a lot of strikes. Young crafty lefty.

Clemente Inclan, LHP/3B, The Bolles School, 2017
6-foot-2, 195 pound ambidextrous left handed pitcher/right handed third baseman. On the mound he has a loose easy working arm (left handed), at a high ¾ slot. Has a fluid delivery with good rhythm. Repeats delivery and changes speeds well. Hides ball in back with a big take away. Arm has a bit of a sling action to it. . Fast ball has sink and cut at 75-80 mph. Curve ball is 71-72 mph and is a short rolling slurve. The change up has some fade to it at 71-72 mph with good arm speed

John Turner, LHP/OF, Indian Rocks Christian, 2018
5-foot-10, 150 pound outfielder/pitcher with a loose athletic young projectable body. Loose arm at a high ¾ arm slot. Big take away in back with a big arm circle. Lands in line. Locks out front leg. Semi upright finish. Good rhythm in delivery. Fast ball had tailing action at 76-78 mph. Did not see any secondary stuff.
